Topic of the day 7/9:Player holdouts how do you choose sides

Brady has a base salary of $1M in 2016 APR 25 2016Suspended 4 games for his role in "deflategate", forfeiting $235,294 in 2016 salary with New England (NE) some teams game the system the salary cap forces parity if teams can draft and find good FAs I don't think Gilmore will hold out this year or even a tag next year . He still has to prove he can stay healthy. -

In today's world body cameras are critical to keep everyone honest , no more he said ,she said. The Fed gov should pick up the cost with a small tax increase.
-
All Officers should have body cameras with audio going before they approach anyone. No excuse it fell off would be good. The traffic stop in MN is another , did he ask the driver for his license or say don't reach for it ? If the driver is terrified he may not even hear the orders.

Very interesting pictures , thanks for the link . The Pres won't appreciate his pic though Barack Obama posing with a group of friends that called themselves the Choom Gang, Hawaii, c. 1979. Choom was slang for smoking marijuana. http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/05/obama-and-his-pot-smoking-choom-gang/ -
This fans the flames Former Rep. Joe Walsh is under fire after deleting a tweet saying "This is now war" against President Barack Obama and Black Lives Matter protesters following the killing of Dallas police officers. "3 Dallas Cops killed, 7 wounded. This is now war. Watch out Obama. Watch out black lives matter punks. Real America is coming after you," tweeted Walsh, a former tea party congressman from Illinois and now a conservative talk radio host. http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/08/politics/joe-walsh-obama-war-tweet/index.html Buffalo police have been ordered to patrol in pairs as a result of threats made against them in a series of social media posts that started following the Dallas police massacre overnight. “Effective immediately and until further notice, all officers will be assigned to two-man cars,” Buffalo Police Commissioner Daniel Derenda said Friday. “Officers should at all times be aware of their surroundings and exercise extra caution while on duty as well as off duty http://www.buffalonews.com/city-region/police-courts/buffalo-police-to-patrol-in-pairs-in-wake-of-threats-on-social-media-20160708

Afghanistan Children as young as five are receiving weapons and jihad training from the ISIL group [Al Jazeera] The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) group has arrived in Afghanistan and is planning to replace the Taliban as the major belligerent force opposing the government in Kabul. That's the simple message contained in our new film for Al Jazeera. But, of course, the reality is far more complex. Professionally filmed and edited beheadings, hangings and massacres are the group's brand logo. In one example, from spring 2015, which we show in our film, they force a group of 10 elders, who had previously accommodated the Taliban in their districts and villages, to kneel on landmines. They are blown up, their torsos scattered across a wide expanse. http://www.aljazeera.com/programmes/specialseries/2015/11/islamic-state-isil-taliban-afghanistan-151101074041755.html

FORTH WORTH, Texas – In a green camouflage shirt and an AR-15 strapped across his chest, Mark Hughes attended a Dallas demonstration against excessive use of force by police as an activist of open-carry, a recently-expanded Texas law that allows licensed gun owners to openly carry rifles, shotguns and pistols. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/07/09/open-carry-activist-labeled-suspect-in-dallas-shooting-says-police-defamed-him.html open carry a AR-15 , what could possibly go wrong -

That went over my head My belief is if we had our millions of manufacturing jobs back things would be better. Not everyone is capable of college or can make it on part time minimum wage jobs. -

Topic of the day 7/3: Small markets and NFL economics
ALF replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At what amount of money will the owners and players be satisfied ? Greed ? New stadiums cost a fortune today. St Louis could not compete with LA and so on. If they ever change the revenue sharing formula to stop subsidising small markets ? -
It looks like only dictatorships in the Middle East could prevent total chaos. Gaddafi , Saddam , the Shah , Assad . Now it is all out war between Shia and Sunni , with minorities in grave danger. A massive wave of refugees and dead civilians as a grim result. Even Afghanistan should have been left alone except for air strikes against al qaeda , just leave them be in the stone age. the E.U. is up in arms at the 1 million Syrian refugees who entered its borders last year. 2015 While the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region currently hosts around 4.8 million Syrian refugees alone (not to mention Iraqi, Palestinian and many others) https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2016/05/14/the-real-refugee-crisis-is-in-the-middle-east-not-europe/

The good news is that Flash can focus his full attention on football. He did very serious training and diet off season to focus on track. He can change his type of intense training and diet to football. Other players get into trouble in the off season , get way out of shape , but not Flash.

The owners have to put limits on salaries like the rookie signing one did. Player salaries keep pushing the need for more revenue. Until that is under control a new stadium would be too far of a reach for Buffalo. JMO -
What a shame , that meant a lot to him, must of had a injury holding him back His wife, Morgan Snow Goodwin, will compete in the women's 100-meter hurdles event on Thursday.

Cutting it close Buffalo Bills receiver Marquise Goodwin advanced to Sunday's finals in the long jump, placing 12th in Saturday's preliminary round at the U.S. Olympic track and field trials in an event where only 12 athletes move on. Goodwin said he was sloppy and feeling a little rusty while messing up his first two jumps of the day, but isn't at all worried about finishing in the top three in the finals to qualify for Rio. http://espn.go.com/olympics/trackandfield/story/_/id/16714136/olympic-track-trials-2016-marquise-goodwin-reaches-long-jump-finals
