A quick look at the Bills future cap spend
ALF replied to Blokestradamus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Does anyone know what Est. Cap Space (All): $-8,072,246 2016 means for the Bills ? Do they have to cut that much before start of season ? http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/ -
Turkey sacks 15,000 education workers in purge after failed coup More than 1,500 university deans asked to resign and 257 PM’s office staff dismissed, with 35,000 public servants now affected It followed the firing of nearly 8,800 policemen, and the arrests of 6,000 soldiers, 2,700 judges and prosecutors, dozens of governors, and more than 100 generals – or just under one-third of the general corps. Some 20 news websites critical of the government have also been blocked https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/jul/19/turkey-sacks-15000-education-workers-in-purge That's pretty much the end of democracy and a secular state for Turkey. Can NATO have a Islamic country like this is heading ? No way it becomes a EU country with open borders to flood even more extremists. Moderate Islam is being replaced by more extreme at a alarming rate. IMO Istanbul (CNN)Turkey has now fired or suspended about 50,000 people after a failed coup over the weekend as it intensifies its vast purge -- battering the country's security forces and many of its democratic institutions. http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/20/europe/turkey-failed-coup-attempt/index.html

Russell Wilson played 3 great seasons before getting the big contract. Kaepernick , Foles , Osweiler, the jury is still out . 1 good season does not always mean a franchise QB I would play it safe with Taylor and see him another season. The number of times he runs will end in injury sooner or later. If Taylor plays well the Bills will be glad to pay him the big money. If Gilmore has a very good and injury free season , somehow someway pay them both after this season

Williams speech/Alton/Philando/Dallas shootings
ALF replied to Maury Ballstein's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
He was not stopped for a broken tail light. He matched the description of a armed robber at a store near that location another date. Get body cameras with audio on all officers that can't fall off in a scuffle so the public and media don't jump to the wrong conclusions when it turns deadly 8 innocent Officers dead, the sad outcome from misinformation -
I just hope Aaron Williams can make it back 100% and stay that way. I still don't know how the Bills D can call out complex plays with the crowd noise at the Ralph.

Switch from secular to Islamic society . I hope the U.S. refuses to send Gulen back to Turkey. Turkey PM vows to purge Gulen movement 'by the roots' http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36833972

At his age he may want more then a 1 year contract. If he would take a vet min about $1M with good incentives he would be good to have. If he can stay healthy -

Don't forget the Bills have RB James Wilder Has multiple arrests in his past -- character and maturity need to be investigated. BOTTOM LINE Physically gifted, energetic, pedigreed runner with potential to develop into a productive sledgehammer and be a better pro than college player if he embraces a violent running style, remains healthy and keeps his head screwed on straight. http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/james-wilder?id=2543585 -
WikiLeaks to release Turkey power structure documents "Get ready for a fight as we release 100k+ docs on #Turkey's political power structure," the whistle-blowing organisation said on Monday via its official Twitter feed. The organisation also claimed that the Turkish government will attempt to censor the distribution of the documents, and urged the Turkish public to be ready to bypass any government attempts at blocking access to the material. http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2016/07/wikileaks-release-turkey-power-structure-documents-160718131206187.html

What is better, no guns, or more guns?

I guess we will see how open carry works outside the RNC this week. CLEVELAND, OHIO — Hours after the head of Cleveland’s police union pleaded with the governor to suspend Ohio’s open-carry laws during the Republican National Convention, Donald Trump’s spokesperson told ThinkProgress she is “not nervous at all” that people are walking around the city with assault weapons. http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2016/07/17/3799189/open-carry-rnc/ -

ALF replied to Maury Ballstein's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Thanks for that info Sig1Hunter, I did not know that, you have that important detail to learn from. A big guy like that must be able to shake off that kind of shock. Too many people without the hope of a job , counting ex felons , they will be desperate , even turn to heroin OD. The police job is becoming mission impossible . Not enough treatment for mentally ill , drug addiction, jobless, instead let the police deal with it , that's crazy. -

Could Sterling have been subdued with a taser instead ? He had a hopeless life and looks like he wanted suicide by cop instead of going back to prison again. -
French Prisons are ‘Radical Islam’ Terrorist Universities Despite Muslims comprising just eight percent of the population of France, 60 percent of the 68,000 French prison inmates are Muslims and about the same 60 percent of the 235,000 French parolees are Muslims, according to the Paris newspaper Le Figaro. http://www.breitbart.com/california/2016/07/16/french-prisons-radical-islam-terrorist-universities/

The question is the -$8M figure listed at spotrac for all contracts. Do the Bills have to cut that amount before the season begins ? Sorry for being vague I was off the grid today

What's your personal line on Islamic Honor Killings?
ALF replied to ExiledInIllinois's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
More than 500 people, mostly women, die in Pakistan each year in such killings, usually carried out by members of the victim's family meting out punishment for bringing "shame" on the community. -
Do all player count against their team’s Salary Cap? Yes, once the season has started, all players – whether on the 53-man roster, Injured Reserve (IR), Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) or the Practice Squad (PS) – count against the team’s Salary Cap. The only players that do not count against the Salary Cap are players who are on one of the NFL exempt lists. the Rule of 51 – is in effect from the beginning of the league year in March until the first game of the regular season. http://russellstreetreport.com/salarycap/nfl-salary-cap-faqs/ Bills Est cap space all -$8M wonder if carryover from last year calculated ,dead cap of $13.5 M Top 51 $11.8M avail http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/

Erdogan said. "I call on the United States and President Barack Obama. Dear Mr. President, I told you this before. Either arrest Fethullah Gulen or return him to Turkey. At the center of this rivalry, a fundamental division in Turkish society between secularists -- some within the country's top military brass -- and Islamists, including Erdogan's AKP party. Supporters describe Gulen as a moderate Muslim cleric who champions interfaith dialogue. Promotional videos show him meeting with Pope John Paul II in the Vatican in the 1990s. He also met frequently with rabbis and Christian priests in Turkey. Gulen has a loyal following -- known as Gulenists -- in Turkey, who all subscribe to the Hizmet movement. Hizmet is a global initiative inspired by Gulen, who espouses what The New York Times has described as "a moderate, pro-Western brand of Sunni Islam that appeals to many well-educated and professional Turks." Nongovernmental organizations founded by the Hizmet movement, including hundreds of secular co-ed schools, free tutoring centers, hospitals and relief agencies, are credited with addressing many of Turkey's social problems. http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/16/middleeast/fethullah-gulen-profile/ Sounds like a good person, don't send him back to Turkey, keep him here and call it house arrest.

I wonder if a small group of the military were tricked into a fake coup to justify a major purge. Shift from secular state to more Islamic . Close tie to ISIS JMO

Reports the France killer may have had mental health issues. That would make a big difference.
