Solidifying the middle of this defense

This helped me warm up to the idea some. Personality-wise, I think he is a good fit for Buffalo.

I think if EJ played in the Mountain West, he'd look very similar to Josh Allen. I think EJ might even look better.

Watson is light years ahead of Lamar as a passer. More than Lamar is ahead of Watson as a runner. I feel like his game is very much like Mike Vick imo. I do think he's coming out of college a better passer than Vick did and I think when he improves his footwork and gets comfortable in an NFL pocket he could be scary dangerous. I would be ok with him with one of the first round picks. I think he will put up good numbers and put some points on the board. I do kind of worry about him getting hit. 6'3 205 is pretty slim.

I question his football instincts

I want nothing to do with Allen. His game is wildly inconsistent. For every wow throw, he'll make 3 head scratchers. I can't believe he's in the same discussion as Rosen, Mayfield and Darnold. I'd even take Lamar 10 times over Allen.

They should have a poll and let the fans select what uniform or uniform combo to wear. Blue pants, red tops? Could be so hideous it may work!

I could see where they'd want to select Chubb before the Giants have a chance to. I think the Giants could have strong interest in him at #2. With Chubb and a healthy Garrett, that DL would be cooking with FIRE.

Why would any member of any organization go and tell an outsider which players they covet? Not saying this isn't true, but why would they just give that info out?

Cool mock! Interesting Josh Allen all the way to #31. That to me seems about where he should go. 1st/2nd. But could really see Washington, Arizona, LAC or Cincinnati grabbing him and letting him sit for a few years.

Isn't 4.7 kind of slow? PP is a 4.3 guy and Ramsey ran a low 4.4.

I thought I read somewhere that Dez Bryant could throw it 90 yards.. Why don't they have the long ball competition anymore. That'd be fun to watch.

I think AJ could be a serviceable starter. If Buffalo is to be a playoff team in 18, I think improving the pass rush is a very big factor in that. The secondary has shown to be opportunistic and that was basically with no rush. If they don't move and and get one of the QBs, I'd be ok with going EDGE and LB at 12 and 22. They could build a monstrous front 7 if they hit on some of these first 6 draft picks.

He had a decent stretch iirc. I still have hope for him. The dude caught everything thrown his way at ECU. Not writing him off yet. Hoping to see at least 60-70 catches from him next season.
