    Personally, I think there are warning signs for some of these killers with mental issues. I suppose a lot of them are more readily apparent in hindsight. I'm definitely still in favor of being able to prevent it on sight with a citizen carrying a weapon of their own, though.

    We gave up a first for Maybin. It's perfectly acceptable to say that we used 2 1sts and a 4th to acquire Sammy because we did.

    It's not directed at you, besides your reference to the "risk." When risks don't work out, someone answers for them. You're being fair IMO.

    I don't think Whaley is being castrated too bad here, but it's not okay how any criticism leveled at a bad move is screamed down. Sorta ridiculous. It was a risk that didn't work out. That counts as valid.
