  1. The average GM went 24-24 in that span. So below average.
  2. But I guess what I'm trying to say is who was really responsible for 2014? Our defense and front 4 who all had career years? 3 of whom were here before Whaley was calling the shots? I don't know what voters think, but my gut tells me you're giving them far too much credit. Also, why are you just making stuff up about Marrone and EJ?
  3. I get that. But just look at the poll! 6:1 against a guy who brought in 4 top 10 players at their position, a few good starters, and some depth in 2 years. Absolutely crazy to me.
  4. Because it's the offseason, and I can't take another Rex/Tyrod topic.
  5. Yes but that's irrelevant. I suppose my point can be broken down to my OP list. Gun to your head, which list do you take Buddy's or Whaley's. I take Buddy's and don't look back. I think there's at least a good argument to be made for it, no? If so, why is there this prevailing notion that Whaley is soooooo much better than Buddy? It makes no sense. Right, but seeing as we don't know exactly who did what, the best we can do is judge them on the moves while they were making the calls, no? Right, Maybin draft, I knew that.
  6. I don't get it. Nix has clearly brought in better players. It doesn't make any sense.
  7. Kaeps larger body of work hurts him, it doesn't help.
  8. In all seriousness, I just wanted to make a topic where we could have some discussion not about Tyrod or Rex. I realize that attributing full credit or blame in both a team game and a team exercise like team building is foolhardy. All that being said, if we DID break it down by Whaley's moves vs. Buddy's, I think Buddy got better players. JMO.
  9. I thought it was 2013? New info? Imagine if the USA abstained in WW2. You'd be giving lukewarm takes in German.
  10. Yeah that Russel Wilson and Cam Newton guy are just becoming mainstream.
  11. Brown sucks. Kiko sucks (and was traded for McCoy.) Moats was a fringe guy, I almost put him, but then I'd have to put Cockrell and that's a wash. And it's greatest hits, so I'm not putting EJ or other busts.
  12. Now, I want to put to bed this misconception that Nix was a bumbling fool that Whaley had to overcome. Here's a compilation of their greatest hits, acquired and drafted players. Buddy: Dareus AW Searcy Gilmore Glenn Bradham Carrington Spiller Mario Fitzy Whaley: Woods McCoy SWAT Darby Karlos Incognito and Taylor (I put these more with Rex, TBH) Seantrel Hughes Clay Who did better? I think I'm taking Nix.
  13. You may be one of the few. In my experience, I've mostly seen Buddy get **** on while Whaley gets points for re-signing the top 10 players Buddy drafted.
  14. Didn't leave Whaley much? Glenn, Gilmore, Dareus, Mario, Aaron Williams, Eric Wood, Kyle, Searcy, Bradham, McK. Sometimes I really really really wonder if anyone on the Whaley is a great GM train ever went back and looked at who Buddy brought in or if they just tout that Buddy sucked to defend their boy.
  15. Spoken like a fan who'd rather see Rex Ryan win 9 games than be a perennial Superbowl contender.

  17. There's this one updated 5 days ago. http://www.ourlads.com/nfldepthcharts/depthchart/BUF I prefer this one, updated every 2 days usually (been slow this past week.) http://www.billsdaily.com/depthchart/
  18. A certain North Carolina ex-farmer who can open-field tackle Marshawn Lynch. The perfect guy to clog the middle of the field.
  19. Exactly my point.
  20. I know I've said this before, but this particular soundbite is IMO the right's greatest weakness. I reserve the right to remain skeptical until I hear them answer it sufficiently and correctly.
  21. I think you're hearing what you want to hear Doc. You racist pig.
  22. Seems like he's just arguing with you if Roger could suspend him. Which he could.
  23. Is anyone even making the argument that he should be punished?
  24. Is that an ugly joke? Nice one. What matters is how they are framed. Once the media gets an abortion or SSM soundbyte, they will pounce and young folks will mobilize to vote against him in droves, even for Hillary. He'd be a moron to make them a part of a plan. He'd sign his own death warrant. If he does that, he'll have no one but himself to blame for the land-slide loss.
  25. Corey Graham can play CB about as well as I can.
