  1. Just preseason so far, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cowboys play .600+ ball if Romo goes down for a few games.
  2. In hindsight. It was still newsworthy.
  3. Isn't this how we found out about the McCoy night club saga? First a report about an incident, then more of the story filtered through. I would hardly call it excellent and informative reporting, but neither will I shoot the messenger. In fact, I only bashed the folks who do constantly shoot the messenger. You see it in every "insider" post, most of which come from reputable posters who have a history of being right. They get chirped for rumor mongering, for speculating, for anything under the sun. One of the best, and I mean the best, part of TBD is the fact that we have ears to the ground. Think about all the little things we get to hear about more than the average fan. The members of this board are arguably the some of the most informed fans in the NFL when it comes to inner-workings, to behind the scenes, to guys with real info that they pass along. If writing a handful of sentences defending Tim Graham makes sure that this kind of practice continues, both from TBD posters and members of the media, I'll write them and damn what some think. My intent is not to offend.
  4. Bribes to Brazil for them to release the swimmers.
  5. A domestic violence incident. You wouldn't know there was any incident at all if it wasn't reported.
  6. You answered your own question. It was brought to the forefront because now you know there was an incident and it is currently being investigated. Really just a roundabout way of saying "ignorance is bliss."
  7. A non-story? Yes, a DV investigation about a Bills key contributor is surely a "non-story." Tim Graham should sit on his info so we won't talk about it on TBD? Are you comprehending what you're writing? "We shouldn't have found the reports on Dareus' and Karlos' suspensions, we woulda found out week 1 anyway." Like what.
  8. What can I say? I'm an eternal optimist.
  9. Fact: Tim Graham's sources say there's a DV incident and possible one game suspension. Fact: the NFL is currently investigating Manny Lawson and has no further comment. Fact: posters like yourself will continue to snivel, moan and cry that Tim Graham is mean on Twitter, which means he's absolutely wrong, he's got nothing, he's just trolling etc etc, until he's proven right, in which case you will either disappear or pretend like there hasn't been a cause for concern this entire saga. Rinse, wash, repeat. Tell me, does it get boring being dead wrong all the time? I imagine it's like being one of the greats. Gotta have a short-term memory in the race to be the first one to look foolish.
  10. He's given us everything his source has given him. Not sure what else he can do. Won't stop him from getting crucified on this board, though. Nothing like a witch hunt for the outrage crowd to make snark, then disappear when they're proven wrong.
  11. Is it still too late to say sorry?
  12. Halas has his name on the jersey, Kirby.
  13. But they were doing nothing and no one cared. Which is Jauronimo's point.
  14. This fluff crap is so stupid.
  15. It must be so hard to have to make phone calls for $100M.
  16. A huge number of people in their 20s drive drunk, have unprotected sex and do other stupid ****. Maybe we shouldn't follow the 20 year old demographic.
  17. Who knows. Sounds like we need to figure that out before jumping to conclusions, yeah?
  18. You could search for "Marcel Dareus drug suspension" like many did and got nothing.
  19. That was also the case when searching Marcell Dareus two weeks ago.
  20. And they obtain them illegally. And they are probably 4x more likely to be on opioids. Football ain't pain free. Most docs in Florida won't even prescribe pain killers anymore. It's a much different animal today than in the past.
  21. Do you think multiple tests weekly is feasible? Will that be a PR nightmare? Would the NFL PA stand for it? So then I pose the same question, if Dareus is personally responsible for taking illicit drugs, why is not the personal responsibility of other players taking illicit drugs?
  22. I can see what you mean with the second part, but how do you enforce it? Drug test for painkillers? Do you think it's NOT Dareus' personal responsibility to not smoke weed? I assumed that was your stance because, well, it's pretty rare to see another side.
