  1. Remember when you said he'd get $19M this offseason and we got him at $15M?
  2. Huh? Didn't we just hear about how it's Dareus' personal responsibility to not smoke weed? Why does it change with prescription narcotics? Why is Dareus responsible to not smoke the Ganj, but when another player is nabbing some opioids on the side, the NFL needs to hand hold them?
  3. Hold the phone, aren't players responsible for themselves?
  4. Of course. You have a point. It being a commonality of these sort of contracts adds more credence to your point.
  5. We can call it....Rexit.
  6. Obviously IMO, but to offer a player that much money, especially GTD money, with a history of drug problems, is a vote of confidence. I'm not saying that it isn't a screw up, it is. And I agree it's a huge concession. But I can also see how Dareus and his agent can play the other side.
  7. Probably was on the table in negotiations. Whaley and co bought that Marcel had changed. A mistake, but not egregious, IMO.
  8. Many more NFL players smoke weed than actually get caught. The NFL rules punish morons, not players who imbibe.
  9. I, for one, appreciate you remaining consistently wrong.
  10. I'm blaming him for lying. Not sure what else you think I'm blaming him for. It sounds like you're projecting. Here's the direct quote, where he expressly says he commented on the ligaments just because he was hoping they weren't involved. "I'm not real sure [about ligament damage]," Ryan said. "I guess I was just so hopeful there's not going to be ligament things.
  11. He said he only made those comments because he "was hopeful." Your made up scenario does not apply.
  12. You mean when Rex said there didn't appear to be ligament damage, then walked back and said he said that because he "felt hopeful?" Right, never happened. 100% true John. Sorry our coach is a moron.
  13. You missed Rex lying about Reggie's injury then looking like an idiot.
  14. It's not just the EJ sucks crusaders that come out.
  15. We had almost twice as many QB pressures in 2014 over 2013. http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/total-team-defensive-hurries/2014/
  16. Glad we don't have any non-vets like last year.
  17. This team cannot bank on Manny being back week 1.
  18. He can stay on the team, as the #3. Cardale isn't indestructible.
  19. Again, nothing. You can try whenever you're ready.
  20. Substantial response. Can we post more about how EJ loves his dog and that makes him such a good guy?
  21. I'm not shifting the goalpost. EJ being a horrific backup is the premise for making Cardale the backup. Thad Lewis didn't ask to play QB here either and we don't see nearly the same amount of sobbing and well-wishing and "he's a great guy who works hard," posts. It's not EJ hate. It's a player who sucks, who everyone knows sucks. Period. EJ isn't special. He's hardly the first QB to fail in the Buffalo. He isn't the first QB to get an arguable bad shake. Time to let him go in your heart, or you'll never be alright.
  22. We saw EJ run like that last year on his way to 0-2 as a starting with more TO's than TD's. What's with the short term memory with this player? Terrible is an understatement. 4 minutes of play so bad, that EJ should've been investigated for betting on the Jags? No reps with the starters, unlike every other backup QB who plays a ton with the starters. Not to mention he had been practicing as the starter for 2 weeks and got worse. He's brutal Gug. If EJ only gift wraps 14 instead of 21, we win. Jeff Tuel could've won that game.
