Hopkins for sure and I think there's an argument for Austin. J-mo really nailed what I was going for earlier. Woods' ceiling was much lower than Austin, Patterson and Hopkins' and that's why he went after them. No he doesn't, he just values their performance if and when they pan out to be worth that risk.

That's literally exactly what you said. Bruce Smith is not in that scenario you mentioned, Shaq Lawson is. They aren't even comparable as college prospects. It doesn't matter what you would do if Bruce was in that scanerio, because that has no bearing on what you'd do with a lesser player. It's a bad comparison and a bad argument. I didn't twist anything that you didn't say yourself.

Really? Do you not remember 2010-2013? It was only a short time ago. We have pages on pages of threads with everyone conceding Kolb cannot stay healthy. It was the only notable fact of his career. But he was the "plan" to play QB? That's a stupid plan.
