I'm so disgusted I can't even talk. It's not as we were playing the Packers in rhythm. Defensive line does not look impressive at all with supposedly a bad o line, no WR worth anything. Fitzy, well just read the last 400 posts, and the secondary is horrible.
I was excited and waiting for 8 mos for this?
I'm glad I didn't book my flight for the bills pats game. They SUCK!

We'll see what is left once they recalculate after assigning the last two on 53 roster plus practice squad. Then factor in Levitre and Byrd and we don't have a ton.
Maybe enough to bring in at minimum plax. He'd be worth it just for the red zone. Even if he's not that effective I'd appreciate the Bills trying to do everything possible to get over 10 wins this year.

I agree that if Wanny can rotate early and often the subs with the first team we won't get gassed. If we keep our studs in too much and Sparano dials up run after run we could have a problem. The Stache will figure it out. I'm watching NFL Matchup now and Hodge Pointed out how bad the Jets o-line is doing and creating seals and holes for the back. The fullback is choosing the wrong defender to take on leading green. Let's hope they didn't get that fixed. I'm not afraid of their passing game at all with our defense if we shut down the run.
As to Tebow, just watch the Denver game from last year and that's your answer. nice guy, but such a bad call bringing him into gan green.

Well let me tell you partner, I'm still feeling that one from the booth. sparano dials another pass Sanchez takes a 7 step drop and wait, Super Mario Williams breaks around another no name righ tackle from the Jets for a second sack for a loss of 9 bringing the Jets back to the 4 yd line for 3rd and 26. Rich you would think they would go deep or run to get out of the end zone. sparano dials up a run to Shaun Green, but wait the rarely ever blitz, but the Stacie through George Wilson in for a loss of 5 and a safety.
Wow, Rich move over Giants, we have new punishing front four pass rush to talk about in the NFL. Well let me tell you partner that is now 7 sacks in only the first half for the Buffalo Bills. Do you think Tom Brady is going to be watching this tape for their game in three weeks. I know I would.

Sorry guys. Yes, Pat Kirwan. My freakin iPad continues to Annoy me with the auto correct and screws up msg often. I apologize. Yes, pk is pretty funny dealing how he hated hearing that song in the Kelly days. We had a couple of good laughs about it and told him if we won tomorrow I'm playing the song on moving the chains on Monday with Tim Ryan.

He'll be out a lot in the crowd as he is trying to sell his book, not that he is not a good guy so a good time to catch him. If you really want him, grab his book and ask him to sign it. He doesn't get that many autographs anymore.
Again, not ripping on our guy, but want your boy to get a great experience with probably our best bill ever.

I heard Jimbo on two radio shows this week, and what he is purporting is nice for young dads to hear. We have a lot of good dads on these threads and whether you think JK is the guy to state it or not he is saying the right things for those 20 something dads who are just starting need to hear.
I appreciate the common sense approach to being a dad.

Guys -maybe extreme but a lot of players can be jerks at times. He just was talking about how gracious Barnett is so why act like middle schoolers with the massage parlor, fry cook, and stripper comments.
It's hard for these guys who get barraged a bit, but at the same time there is a general difference in some of them. I can tell you one of the best of the guys I've spent time with was Andre reed. He actually was guest at one of my corporate meetings last year and was as cool as he was as a star opening the door for me in the 90's when they were going to superbowls at the big tree inn.
I love when I hear about another good guy who is a nice genuine person and doesn't think because he plays football or any other type of success that he is better than the guy behind the subway counter.

This is not same jets defense. Freddy will run on them and we will keep mixing up strong packages with spread. Chan is not a rookie. He is also not Mike Martz. He will adjust and was not running a lot of what you saw because he was stubborn or stupid. He ran it due to a tremendous lack of talent and depth. He will give rexy a run for his money. The more talent we bring to this team, watch how much better we talk about coaching.

Omg - I can't imagine a bills game without the shout song. I was talking to pat Korean and he stated in the early 90's he despised that song as the gm with a vengeance. That is what we need to g?et back to where the patriots cannot stand hearing those words and the chanting from the fans.
There is nothing like a winning bills team and the experience in Rich Stadium.
Let's go buffalo, the bills make me want to shout!

Don't worry, I'll play it for pk and t rock on NFL radio Monday when we kick the gan green asses. Especially as much as I love pk, he was the gm for the jets for all of those years.
By the way on google you can get not only the song but the words as well as a couple of you tubes with the oilers comeback and some of the other fun games to thE song.

Now if we can just get Tuesday, Wednesday night football so I can ensure a divorce as college is awesome on Friday night and Saturday's. All kidding aside, I like it as it's another fun night if you have the time. I don't live in buffalo so I have to use direct tv for the ticket.
Several of these games are not marquee so it's not that we might watch every week. For me I fly back home from business trips so I miss most of them anyway.

George Wilson. Rated last year as the second best strong safety in the NFL. He will be number 1 by the end of this year with this pass rush.
Offense. Fred Jackson. He'll be even better this year.

I've never been so anxious, excited, worried, and fired up for a season in the last decade. I can tell you after all of those excellent years from the late 80's to the late 90's, I will never take for granted what it is like to enjoy 10-6 seasons.

I can't even comment on this thread not because of you, but the absurdness to actually put a future HOF possible DE of the,likes of Bruce to a 230lb weakling who says he's fast and has done nothing. He is the a reflection of why we drafted so horribly for a decade.
What a debacle? There are no redeeeming qualities on Maybin. I love he is at the Jets as he takes up a spot for someone better.

Absolutely. That's my point. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. Fitz fits Buffalo, and all of them can do what they do in other cities. I love he is a family man, unapologetic, and is harvard bright with three kids.
I wasn't ripping on his wife, but moreso talking about the kind of guy we have who fits our city, our fans, and our team. My apologies if anyone thought I was ripping on his wife as I really was not at all.
I still say with better talent, better field position, and a better defense, and now game planning when it counts with a running game, he is going to surprise people, and be much better than people think. That is why i feel we need to give a whole season to see who Fitzy is as the guy. Can he be a rothles, Brady, Manning, Brees, etc. With the right team around him, I think he can.
I also think if Brady's line is as bad as it might be, he won't look so invincible this year, as he'll have two less seconds to throw.

Still hoping for five sacks though secretly and at least one for Tebow. We'll see. My bet is our best defensive players will come from George Wilson, Kyle all World Williams, and Mario.
I also think Freddy will surprise people again as he barely ran in the preseason as well as a bigger more imposing line with more depth.
The brooks loss sucks though. He was a steal.

I was thinking about an NFL Dinner where they invited all of the AFC East QB's and their significant others to the table. Can you imagine the dialogue after the dinner? We have TB and Giselle, Tannehill and his hot wife, and Sanchez and I guess this week it is Eva Longoria. How much would that suck for the Amish regular guy Rifle?
All kidding aside, he's not had the talent that Eli's had, nor the defense. I hold Fitzy's judgment after this year, not the first two weeks, but the whole season to see if he is really a servicable QB. Everyone wants a quick answer, and many of you have heard me say before we were decomated in talent due to bad FO decisions for decade. We still need one to two WR, a TE, and at least on LB. Once we get there, if we get there we will have a real chance. I'm very hopeful we can provide an effective running game as we showed nothing in the preseason and we will run a great deal in the real season.
We'll see.

Enjoy your date Mark, and please spoon and hang out this week. Whatever keeps you among other things from the film room. Just know based on your line Mario, and Kyle along with some surprise blitzes from either Jairus, or George and are going to pound you early and often. Based on Mangold, and DeBrick, we should have a quiet day from Marcel, and Mark.
Lastly, the NFL radio was stating today given that wildcat, they think that is the only reason the Vegas line is leaning slightly to the Jets. Last time I checked when Tebow played us it was fairly ugly. That was with a better team. The scheme may be different, but when Tebow is in I'm not worried at ALL!

Anyone who wants to get your Bills Fandemonium going read the last chapter of "Big Russ and Me". God bless Tim Russert, probably our best most notable Bills fan, who I'll never forget before those Superbowls would say a prayer on National TV on Meet the Press, for our beloved Bills. To see his commentary on the Bills on the NFL network talking of the glory years was special.
He was everything good about all of you as faithful Bills fans, and miss him on Sundays. I just read that last chapter today at the beach, and thought, THANK GOD FOOTBALL IS BACK!!!!
God bless the Bills and let's kick the snot out fo the J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS. Since I don't don't live in Buffalo anymore, one of our best family friends is from LI, and a huge Jets fan. I already ordered the apparel to appropriately place all over his SUV, Car, House and front yard the morning of the game letting hom know who's going to win at 4:15 pm that day.
