  1. Carr's been throwing it deep.
  2. I've been thinking that as well. I don't have an enormous sample size-- just the Pats* game and about a quarter of this one-- but he has errant throws, and occasional bad decisions. He should have had two additional pics vs. the Pats* where he his two defenders right in the hands. Had the Pats* made those two plays, and had the refs not called that egregious non-fumble on Mahomes, the Pats* very well could have won that game.
  3. I hope he does. Leaders lead by example. If teams don't take the protocols seriously, the season is going to collapse.
  4. I just logged on to post the exact same observation.
  5. Where do you get that tie-dye Bills shirt he's wearing? That's the one I want.
  6. Depending on how this whole crap-show ends up being scheduled, would it make sense to start playing around with some of our practice squad players-- considering how loyal I believe the majority of the Bills team to be, and how loose the practice squad rules are? For example: if we end up with a short week between Chiefs (which will be "all hands on deck"), and the Jets (who will not be competitive but will be playing to injure), would it be wise to elevate some of the bruisers on the practice squad: Duke Williams, Trey Adams, Brian Cox Jr., etc vs. the Jets, and sit some of our more valuable players to be fresh the following week vs. the Pats*? Idle thoughts...
  7. This should be the real definition of a "trap game." I forgot about that Jets game. I have high hopes for us vs. Chiefs-- especially if they play like they did against the Pats*. But, I expect the Jets D to inflict injury. Between Greggo, and some of their defensive personnel, It's not a game to be taken lightly.
  8. I'm not sure Del'Shawn Phillips actually exists.
  9. Watching the replay of that game, I felt like if all things are equal when we play each of these teams, that we would have a harder time against the Pats* than we would against the Chiefs.
  10. It's obviously a very complimentary comparison, but I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
  11. Yeah, it's been said many times that "Raiders" are synonymous with "classy."
  12. If only Cam could have played, the Pats* probably would have scored 17 points.
  13. Matt Milano missed four games in three seasons, plus one this season. He plays 110% every snap. I'd be surprised if he even keeps track of the score while he's playing. I'd rather have someone like Milano who puts himself out there than someone like Klein, who I'm quite sure is going to finish the season without a scratch.
  14. I think Rex Ryan expressed some interest in coaching a team?
  15. All six of our wide receivers made plays today. Daboll, and McDermott know exactly how to use each players' strengths, and McKenzie's sweep is a perfect example-- he was made for that play.
  16. It's not like I was keyed on LG all game, or anything, but I did notice that when Ford was in at LG, he was really good. The entire front line was great in pass protection, but Food also had at least one beautiful block that afforded Motor a nice run. Gotta say, I like Ford at LG.
  17. I really do apologize for this... There have been many players Attacked by nay-sayers From offense, and defense, and teams. But Late Nate to Zay Jones Would chill to the bones And infect a fan’s ugliest dreams Peterman
  18. What if it's a Zay Jones/Nathan Peterman revenge game??? AAAHHGGG!!!!
  19. My point was in response to another poster who speculated that Gase would have ruined Allen in 2018 had Allen gone to Miami. Follow the thread. What's your point, btw? Are you really of the opinion that the above narrative of Allen's rookie season is an example of proper management? In my opinion, the fact that Allen is a top five QB does not indicate that putting a rookie QB in the worst situation possible is going to be good for their development. IMO, you can't look at Allens current stats and claim that, in hindsight, pairing Allen with literally the worst QB in the league, or any of the other elements I outlined, was a good idea.
  20. Well, without gettin too far into the weeds, we drafted a QB that everyone (including Beane, and McD, btw) considered a raw talent who was not NFL-ready, that would need time on the sidelines behind a vet to learn the NFL. Having already let go of Tyrod Taylor, they hire as a vet mentor AJ McCarron, who IIRC had started all of five games in his career. They then run all of TC, and the offseason as a three-way QB competition. They cut AJ McCarron and name Late Nate Peterman as the starter, who craps the bed so spectacularly (worst week one start in franchise history) that he gets benched before the end of the third quarter. Allen then spends the next month as the starter behind the 29th ranked O-line, and the worst WR corp in the league, and Late Nate as his backup. Then, finally, in October they bring in a "vet Mentor" --- Derek Anderson. If you're going to describe that as some sort of 3-D chess... well, we'll just have to stand in disagreement.
  21. Let's not pretend that Allen's first season in Buffalo was anything but woefully mismanaged.
