  1. I definitely agree that the Yankees have the biggest competitive advantage in sports. The Sox have the second biggest advantage in sports. Listening to Sox fans whine about the Yankee advantage is pathetic and the height of hypocrisy. If Schilling was hurt, he shouldn't have been playing which is a coaching decision. So, you lost because of a poor coaching decision, not because of the 60 million payroll disparity. I'd probably watch more baseball if there was a salary cap and some competition between teams. Watching the Yankees and Red Sox each buy their way into the playoffs every year while small market teams just act as farm teams for BOTH of them doesn't strike me as exciting. Listening to Yankee fans chant "Who's your Daddy?" to Pedro is pretty funny though. Even you have to admit that. RunTheBall
  2. quote=Guest,Oct 14 2004, 05:41 AMForget the past. Rightt now the Yankees are BUYING a spot in the playoffs every year. 69426[/snapback] Not a baseball fan, just an impartial observer. I think its pathetic to listen to Sox fans whine about the Yankee payroll when the Sox have the 2nd highest payroll in the league. You don't think the Sox are BUYING a spot in the playoffs every year? You can't have it both ways. By the way, I don't watch baseball a lot so I may be off base here but it seems like the reason the Yankees are winning is because their guys are stepping up while the big money Sox guys (i.e. Schilling, Pedro) are choking. It's not like Boston is paying them minimum wage. Whiners. RunTheBall
  3. Having your scrotum scraped with a cheese grater then doing deep knee bends in a pile of salt. It's that bad. RunTheBall
  4. My guess is that Sol is going to have a pro-bowl game against our Bills. Then when he's done, he'll sue our pathetic offensive line for the punitive damages. Sue who? SUE EVERYONE! For the punitive damages that you are giving me. Should I bring my fuggin tools?? RunTheBall
  5. How are you going to make adjustments with this sorry sack of **** offensive line we have? The Jets rushed 4 against our 6 blockers and sacked Bledsoe in less than 3 seconds. Just what game plan do you want to have with this garbage? The Evans deep ball worked because we max protected and they were playing 8 in the box against the run and ew got single coverage on Evans. The max protection worked because they were playing the run first, pass second. This won't work every play as our O-line is one of the most god-awful in the history of the game. So just what adjusments do you want to make? This isn't Madden dude. RunTheBall
  6. If the O-line screws up and lets in too many blockers, TH should at least block SOMEONE. He whiffs completely, doesn't even get a chuck in. If its because he doesn't know who to block, then its his intelligence or game time preparation. His trade value is plummeting with every game he plays. RunTheBall
  7. I hope Sage Rosenfels doesn't start for Miami this Sunday because there is no doubt in my mind this pathetic team will make him look like the next coming of Montana. RunTheBall
  8. Before this season started, we were talking about getting a low first rounder for TH. Look how much has changed in just 4 games. I think we vastly overrated TH last year. The fact that he played hurt and was a warrior for us goes over well in Buffalo but doesn't hide the fact that he is nothing more than an above average back, if that. RunTheBall
  9. TH is going to be gone next year assuming WM stays healthy. TH has been less than impressive this year, although we're only at the 1/4 pole. WM hasn't had much opportunity, but at least he can block and he's going to get more touches. Other teams know that TH will be available and its unlikey he and WM can exist on the same team. I don't think we get more than a 3rd rounder for him. Thoughts? RunTheBall
  10. I think I would play more max-protect schemes on offense. I would run 2 tight ends, 2 wides and McGahee. Our offensive line is probably the worst in the league so you've got to give them some help even against fewer rushers. I'd throw a lot more to the TE's in the middle, run regularly out of this formation, and take a couple shots deep with play action. Not real exciting ball I know. There would be lots of 3 and outs. But if you get anything resembling a running game then you force more guys ito the box and can take some deeper shots. RunTheBall
  11. I would seriously consider cutting back on whatever it is you're smoking. I'm sick of moral victories and "We may suck, but we'll be damn proud of this team at the end of this season!". All that matters is the playoffs. That's the only way you get to the Superbowl. This team is 100% out of the playoffs. Maybe you'll be happy with some chest thumping as you watch the playoffs that don't include Buffalo but I won't. RunTheBall
  12. It stuns me that when they went up by 1 point, there was little doubt in my mind that they were going to blow it. 1 point with nearly 6 minutes on the clock? No way the Jets weren't going to get at least a FG. I remember when the Bills could be down by 14 with 2 minutes to play and not have the ball and I would still think they had a chance. RunTheBall
  13. In my opinion, the fact that you are talking about the 2005 season at the quarter pole of this season says everything - this team SUCKS. This team can objectively kiss my pissed-off ass. RunTheBall
  14. Can't say I remember many games from the 70s because I was so young, but I understand we had some pretty horrible teams during that decade that wouldn't need any referee help to lose games. I didn't realize Shula had the refs bought. What I've seen so often is good Buffalo teams being victimized by bad calls over the years, and no team has benefited from them as much as NE. That's what will make winning so satisfying, is will be overcoming the other team and the refs. As I type this, I see NE is the beneficiary of another bullcrap call. RunTheBall
  15. At least the Dolphins beat us straight up. How many games have been given to the Patriots by the refs over the years? Even before they became the league pretty boys. RunTheBall
  16. I've been a huge Sullivan basher this year, I think he's a miserable prick. That being said, I've gotta say his article in today's Buffalo News isn't off base. Sullivan Article His comments that we don't have the character players that we had in the past are right on. Nate Clements with "Playmaker" over his locker is indicitive of the "me first" attitude that seems to pervade this team. I don't know if anything less than a full house cleaning is going to get rid of it. RunTheBall
  17. Sounds to me like you thought of that snappy headline all by yourself and came up with an excuse to post it on a message board. Please give me back the 20 seconds of my life I wasted on that. Who thinks of this crap? RunTheBall
  18. Uggh. What is it with the teams that I watch and the ability to crush all hope with a stupid fuggin trick play at the absolute worst times??? A reverse on 1st and 10 against one of the faster defences in the country. Friggin brilliant Deleon. He and that putz Pasqualoni must go. RunTheBall
  19. You can't leave 13 potential points on the field and beat Florida State. 2 missed field goals and a fumble on the FS 5 are going to kill SU. I feel like I'm watching the Bills the way they are self destructing. Hopefully they can pull it out but FS isn't Rutgers. RunTheBall
  20. For all those who feel that Coy Wire shouldn't be cut immediately I politely refer you to the "Coy Wire Sucks" thread for some fine insight into his potential. RunTheBall
  21. Give me a break. These are pampered, spoiled, pro-athletes who get millions to play a friggin game. The least they could do would be to get it right. You think TKO gives a crap what we think? Hell no, he's out there spending his millions and working on his next robot dance that he can do on second down. When he blows an assignment that results in play detrimental to the TEAM, then he should hear about it. RunTheBall
  22. 1) Bills 2) Sabres 3) SU Sports (alma mater) 4) UB Bulls (grad alma mater) Someone please give me something sharp to stick in my eye. But hey, if I was a New England sports fan it would look like this: 1) NE Patriots for the last 3 years 2) Boston Celtics in the years 1957, 1959-1966, 1968, 1969, 1974, 1976, 1981, 1984, 1986 but I don't follow them anymore 3) Boston Bruins in the years 1928, 1938, 1940, 1969, 1971 but I don't follow them either 4) Boston Red Sox since 1918! Yankees suck! RunTheBall
  23. WE ARE 0 and 3 ! WE SUCK RIGHT NOW! #1) O line played well - WE LOST #2) Travis hits the hole hard WE LOST #3) Drew threw the ball well WE LOST #4) London blah blah WE LOST Get it? Who gives a **** how individual units played for parts of the game. It doesn't mean jack when you lose the game. Maybe you're satisfied with giving this team a big E for Effort but I'll give them a big L for LOSERS. It's pathetic when we are reduced to arguing that "We're really not the worst team in the league, that would be San Fran or Miami". Is this how the Arizona fans feel every year? Because I don't like it. Please, 0 - 3 people. I'll save looking for the positives when we post a W and have something to build on. RunTheBall
  24. Tell me something positive about being 0 - 3 and the worst team in the league? RunTheBall
  25. Hey Coy, YOU SUUUUUUUUCCCKKK! Sufferin suck-o-tash you suckity suck suck. Go suck on Schoebel, maybe he'll throw you a few benjamins for your trouble. You should be the special teams jock collector demon sucker. You suck.
