Soft on crime Democrats - the system is the problem?
yall replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Judging a book by it's cover here, but nothing about that guy indicates "competent to stand trial". Lock him up in a mental facility for life. -
I don't know what Beane is offering so I can't make any claims about the reasonability of his offer. I will say this; I believe Cook asking for 15 million a year is unreasonable.
-
Maybe stick with golf.

It has nothing to do with his mother. The joke implies that he's some basement dwelling troll that hasn't reached escape velocity from his parents house.
-
Those would be happy days indeed.
-
I was thinking the same thing, except for the defensive ends. I feel like I haven't heard anything about Bosa, Epenessa or Jackson.

Thank you for all of the updates @HappyDays

Yeah they want you to finance, obviously. But having worked in the Auto industry and knowing people that still do, they won't broom you off the lot just because you want to pay cash. They certainly won't be horrified. A sale is a sale. And frankly, you won't even deal with the interest rate until you get to the negotiation phase. If you tell a salesperson you're paying cash, their eyes will light up and they'll show you anything on the lot. That post is hyperbolic bull####.

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky
yall replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
This would worry me more, except the bills haven't signed anyone to replace him at camp. They are usually pretty quick to pull the trigger on stuff like that, so I'm hopeful that they don't believe it's anything long-term. -
With this offense, two guys hitting 1k is super unlikely. I could see Moore getting 900-1100 yards and 7-9 TDs. I think he has that level of talent.
-
I'm thinking Moore had a legit shot to take off.
-
Yeah I'd start a post there and you'll probably get a good answer from a group member, if not Eric himself. With that being said, I never seen an RV there.
-
Thanks for the update. I see news from the neck injury back in November 2024, but no indication he ever had surgery. In fact it's probably unlikely he had surgery and was at mini camp if the injury was just this past November.
-
Yes, and based upon the quality of some recent threads, it's none too soon! Edit: Also, I'm surprised to see no one has posted anything about how almost none of the second round draft picks have signed anywhere. I'm expecting Sanders will not show on at camp today.

Feds can out muscle the states when it comes to regulation of schedule I controlled substances. We can definitely agree that NYSOCM is an unmitigated disaster, especially for the small business trying to make their way through the red tape and burecratic nightmare.
-
The cannabis laws are, and have always been silly to say the least. As far as migrant labor goes you're 100% correct, both parties have been talking out both sides of their faces for decades. Neither have clean hands.
-
Technically, yes it's illegal. Weed is still a schedule I drug and illegal at the federal level, as is it's cultivation. The feds haven't bothered enforcing for the most part, but if the DEA felt like it, they could shut down every grow operation from Anchorage to Bangor.

He wrote "your exact weight" on the paper.

"FALSE. The Department of Homeland Security DID NOT target the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture. On July 8, HSI Chicago's Financial Crimes Task Force (FCTF) staged and held a quick briefing in the Museum's parking lot in advance of an enforcement action related to a narcotics investigation." https://abc7chicago.com/amp/post/ice-chicago-puerto-rican-museum-staff-says-homeland-security-surveyed-area-ahead-barrio-arts-fest-humboldt-park/17036923/ So, maybe not? Sounds like people are looking for the boogeyman.
