I have nothing against food stamps for people who are really in trouble and are out of options. But thats the problem. How many people are abusing them? Using them as a crutch or otherwise. If its too convenient to use the government to pay people are going to abuse it.

I got a kick out of the teacher saying on the one hand she should be compensated for her lofty education and then two seconds later saying that teachers do the job because they love it. My wife and I get in minor arguments all the time over teachers. Of course in my mind, they aren't that much more than glorified baby sitters and that leads to all kinds of flack.

To each his own. I'm one of the few that don't rave about In and Out. Don't get me wrong I think it's a decent burger but not great. I don't like their fries either. BUT the price is right for them. Cheaper than most fast food burgers. Around our house there are a couple nice burgers to be had in restaurants when I feel like one. I put together a very nice burger as well if I don't say so myself.

Since the bailout and now this there is absolutely no motivation for restraint by unions. With no threat of their employer going broke and the apparent full support of the government by reinforcing pensions, the skys the limit. And if GM, Chrysler and whomever does go under Im sure Obama and the rest of the aholes will cover them off.
