  1. To Seattle for a 4th rounder pick in 2011 and some sort of conditional pick
  2. This is misleading. Of course the qb is more important than any ONE player. Is he more important than the entire offensive line? Thats what we're really talking about here. We need the entire unit overhauled. Problem is this takes more time and patience and is not as satisfying and sexy as going out and drafting a hot shot college qb. I'm tired of watching our rbs having to make 3 moves before they even get too the line of scrimmage. Our backs don't know what its like to have a opening in front of them that they can work with. We really may never know how good Spillar and Lynch could be. Unless they get traded too a team that actually has a line. Once we have a running game that commands respect, someone like Fitz will do until we can draft a good prospect qb. Of course this is all imho.
  3. I wouldn't be disappointed if they got an elite qb in the draft. It would be nice to have a future in that position. Hell, there are lots of holes the Bills could fill. But I still lean towards getting OLinemen,\. I personally believe that building a team is like building a house. Good foundation being the line that will last for 5 or 6 years if you get the right guys. Then we can run the ball and give any qb we have a fighting chance. If we can run the ball it helps our d keeping them off the field a bit more. I guess its just a matter of philosophy.
  4. Nothing else should matter for the bills right now except building a offensive line. One step at a time. the better u run the ball the better your qb and wrs will be. Then focus on d
  5. I'm ahead of the curve as far as emotional attachment to this team. I think about 3 years ago I started to become detached. 30 plus years of crap football is enough. I still want them to win for sure, but I don't care anymore when they lose. What is particularly bad about the current situation is that there is no light at the end of the tunnel. We have a clueless owner who hires bargain basement coaches and management that no other real NFL team would hire. Until someone other than Ralph owns this team nothing is ever going to change. He only ever spent money on one coach Chuck Knox. I don't know the details of his hire of Polian but I'm willing to bet he got lucky with that one because he wasn't bright enough to keep him. I feel sorry for anyone who lives and dies with this thing.
  6. I like this comment from below the pic "Looks like two guys kissing to me. Or a horse and its trainer.' Posted at 12:12 PM on Oct 1, 2010 by wowza
  7. This would be great. My favorite and most terrifying portrayal of Dracula is by Hammers Christopher Lee. They really should consider remaking "Dracula Has Risen From The Grave" and "Horror Of Dracula". Also "Twilight" like movie is exactly what I'm afraid of. It would be pretty typical of Hollywood to go there. Post up a mini review when you can!
  8. Judging by the previews it looks like they have enhanced it visually for sure. If they can treat the story like the original it will be a winner. Hollywood tends to go overboard though. My fear is that it will be too romantic or shmaltzy, corny or however you want to put it. The original had a kind of no frills or starkness to it that didn't distract from the tension or story.
  9. I hope they don't wreck "Let The Right One In." Jackass looks fun. "Secratariat" Do we really need another horse movie?
  10. I like this piece on elitist Ivy League know it alls What hath Harvard wrought? Not much good. A Harvard Law School classmate of the president leads the Federal Communications Commission effort to control media available to the average citizen. The narrowly passed ObamaCare bill was engineered by a team from the Harvard School of Public Health with the expressed purpose of putting government in charge of individual health care choices. They were assisted by medical ethics consultants from Princeton who -- if you take away the academic doublespeak -- do not believe that individuals should be allowed to give birth to handicapped children. And the Harvard doctor nominated to head Medicare flatly wants to ration health care for seniors so as to achieve "social justice" for other, more valued citizens. Too old to be of value, he says with a shake of his pointy head.
  11. For what category? Suckiest music of all time?
  12. Maybe our guys should start being more sleazy. Then they might win like Ryan and Bellicheat. But on another note, where is your team when you outright release your starting qb? And replace him with Fitzpatrick to top it off. Were screwed for years to come
  13. Ever read the Rolling Stone? Probably not and don't waste your time doing so. Liberal rag its funny that they would run a interview bashing Fox when they are far worse. For some reason we get it at our house thats why I know. We have a aunt that insists on buying us magazine subscriptions I suspect thats how it happened.
  14. Any government system that wants absolute control of you. No matter what side its coming from
  15. lol. 4tds and 300yds. Has to be good for 35-40 points. Sadly, I have no Patriot receivers or Brady. Did have him last season though
  16. Damn Joe I don't know how anyone could have been optimistic. A retread management and coaching staff that no one else wanted. Drafting a rb before we even have an offensive line. No qb. At best the Bills made lateral moves. I think your pre season optimistic delusion was caused by your love for the team.
  17. Me neither. Sunday night there is way too much tv stuff going on. Amazing Race, Boardwalk Empire, Dexter season premier, East Bound and Down premier
  18. Every leftist, fascist movement needs a scapegoat. In this case Obama and his cohorts are using the hackneyed class warfare technique.
  19. Leave Jess out of this fight. She's done nothing to you
  20. Should be interesting to see. Too bad its the Capitals and Pens but I'll take what I can get. Hopefully its done as well as Hard Knocks http://www.usatoday.com/sports/columnist/hiestand-tv/2010-09-23-hbo-nhl_N.htm
  21. No way I could cheer for another team. Like someone else in this thread I'm more of a Bills fan than a NFL fan. I think I would be sad but not as much as I would have been 5 or 6 years ago. This team has nudged me towards indifference as I have wised up to the deal over the last few. I think my football loyalty will be tied to whatever teams has my fantasy pool players.
  22. yeah but Adam and Jimmy would be so much funnier at a rally than the other two schmoes.
  23. Thanks so much for that. I was just going to B word about no pic. Not sure if anyone is worth 10k a night though. Although she is really close. Maybe if by "a night" they mean the entire evening hours? Like from 6pm-6am. Now that may be a bargain!
  24. If you see this rally as anything other than campaigning for Obama and his leftist comrades your delusional.
  25. This is why I gave away my ipod. Went to something else. Never looked back.
