Welcome to the club. Had front tooth done a couple years ago. Such a long process for me. Before they could initiate the implant stuff I had to get braces so my new super tooth didn't crush my lower teeth. Then, because my front tooth was missing for so long, my upper jaw bone regressed so they had to rebuild it with bovine bone. They needed to do this so they had a place to put the implant pin. All in all I think it was a 3 year process. Well worth it though. Anyway, IIRC I ate a lot of pasta. Soup obviously. Anything I ate was with the side of my mouth. What teeth are you replacing? My dental didn't cover me so it was all out of pocket for me. Is this the case with you as well? What is the final cost? None of my business really just curious for comparison sake. I may have to get my other front tooth done as well some day since it is a cap from way back when.

Love that song -
Here you go. Lays it all out pretty well with a bit of humor sprinkled on so its not so depressing.

Monument to unions. Government over regulation. The EPA. Over taxation. Detroit must be heaven to the Pacific rim, Mexico, South America or whomever who is doing all the work now. Nice job f..tards. On a side note. Some great sets there for post apocalyptic sci-fi or horror movies. Also, some of these pics remind me of the Chernobyl ones.

March Movies: Battle L.A., Sucker Punch, Rango....
Dante replied to Mark Vader's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I read some of them before I went. Has me puzzled. I wanted to like it going in so I would think I was more tolerant than most critics. -
I came up with this idea a while ago. Like the movie "Escape From New York", how about we turn Detroit into a giant federal prison. With todays tech it should be relatively easy to keep them in. I know we don't do so great on our borders but here we would actually want to keep them contained. Imagine the great reality tv shows this could spawn to help pay for it. We would no longer have to maintain several fed pens just one big open concept city based one.

np. Pegg has a hand in writing all the movies. This is why I'm kinda surprised and disappointed this thing was such a dog. Also why I suspect the Hollywood people had a hand in the writing. No consistent with his other stuff including the series "Spaced" that he also co wrote. Not really any politics or heavy social commentary in his stuff. -

I guess I was mislead by the almost the entire cast being SNL alums. Director being from Long Island and so on. Silly me. -

Don't go see Paul. My early nomination for Turd Of The Year. Really disappointing since I enjoyed Shawn Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz. This one got the Hollywood treatment and it showed. Clumsy attempt at humor rarely made me smile. I think early in the film when they were at Comic Con there may have been a few moments that made me smile I guess. One of those movies I couldn't wait to end to get out of there. What really seemed weird was the swipes the movie took at creationism. Kind weird because it seemed so out of place in this lame brained, light weight disaster. Anyway, Hollywood just can't help itself I suppose. Had the obligatory country redneck that can't wait to use his gun on anyone and anything. Stereotyped government agent with a signed pic of GW Bush on her desk and so on. -
I think this is a very good post all around. Ive posted before that I'm atheist. Not proud or ashamed of it and it does make me objective. Objective enough to appreciate the positive effect of the belief in god as it pertains to the creation of the Constitution and Declaration Of Independence. Has to be considered a good thing. Also have to back up OC with the Mormon thing. I have two that have worked here for approximately 4 years. Solid is a good way to describe them. Good workers. Dependable as hell. Not missing days because of alcohol or drugs. In fact, one guy never missed a day for two years until he took a two year hiatus to go on a mission. The other guy(who used to drive the other to work here) only missed one day. That was the day after his wife gave birth and even then he still drove the other guy to work!! In contrast, a artist that works here(no religion that I'm aware of) took 3 weeks when his wife hatched. That said, the middle east is another story. They can fry each other with tactical nukes for all I care.

Hey, if your going to steal, make it worth it. Not some 42" tv set or a pair of Nikes. They aren't?

England is socialist. Anyway, I think the reason they don't loot is the same reason there is little crime there.

cmon, everyone knows that the more money the government has and the less the greedy free market capitalist citizens have the better off the country. Cause the feds have such a great record with the stuff they run with our money.

hmmmm...maybe a peak into where civilization should be right about now. Even ones in crisis.

How dramatic. "maintain white supremacy" = Maintain the status quo of extremely cheap labor. It was a money making deal both ways. Thats including the guys that sold the slaves. -
Obama: Weakest President in History?
Dante replied to Rob's House's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
He seems to be doing a lot to me. Lots of damage. Ramming through health care is more than enough. But if he wants to do more and really help the world he should take a hands on approach to the nuke crisis in Japan. He should assemble a crack team consisting of Pelosi, Reid, Biden and our guy Jerry Brown and replace the Fabuishi 50. Get right down in that core personally cool off those rods that are melting. That would really thrill the dissaffected libs and would also please me. Heaven forbid they get sick but if something so awful should happen they all can give their new health care system a spin. -
Barack Obama Elementary School to close

How fitting. On a side note, I couldn't help but there is a "Purchase Image" option on the pictures on that site. Never seen that before. -

Maybe your right. I should be thankful he's out of the country. -

I'm not saying he goes there. Just make sure we are doing all we can. For moral support. Just me but I know thats what I would be doing. He's so concerned with global civil rights, health and so on,(if you read any of his past speeches before he was potus) you would think this would be a perfect opportunity for him. -

Besides that, what about whats going on in this country? Housing down. Unemployment. Inflation. Hell, in his position I would be personally involved in the Japan situation. Just out of compassion. I guess his arrogance and confidence are limitless. -

"You are the only ones who can resolve a crisis. Retreat is unthinkable," Japanese Prime Minister Naota Kan told them,(Fukushima 50) Kind of reminds me of WWII Japan -
Just wondering how, if at all, does the lockout effect the draft? Can it still go on because college players are still amateurs and not part of the NFLPA? I assume they cant be signed but can they still be selected?
