  1. I loved one of the Globe Trotters describing who Freud was. Don't remember the quote verbatim but it was something like he dreamed about sleeping with his mother or something like that. lol In the Cowboys defense. We all while watching were thinking we might have done the same thing. Two connections is scary. They even said every connector they have had has been delayed. The took a calculated risk I suppose. Maybe they knew in the back of their mind they could make up the 1/2 hour if they had to?
  2. For the man or woman that has everything. Classy
  3. I think I used to be a condescending atheist. I think I'm still a atheist but have dropped the smugness. Although I still find the existence of a supernatural god hard to believe, I do appreciate the values Christianity brings to the table. I find myself thinking of a quote that I have no idea of its origin. "Those who believe in nothing will believe anything". Recent examples of "anything" would be like Obama, Marxism and general liberalism.
  4. Good news for Sabre fans. No Pronger tonight. DTD. Huge loss for the Flyers. Hope the Sabres take advantage
  5. Showing on DTV 770, 771. Both HD. But also showing on Versus 604.
  6. I did try the NHL online package for $20 a month to watch on my laptop. It was actually pretty nice. Picture quality was great although I was watching on a 17" screen. A nice option, and I don't know if this would be the same on Roku, is that you can watch multiple games at once. This is great, especially during the first round of the playoffs.
  7. Do you actually think this is going to cause mass hysteria and chaos? How many people actually take this seriously. Pretty much just more fodder for news and gives us some amusement as we laugh at them.
  8. They aren't beheading infidels. Raping or stoning chics for looking at guys the wrong way. Randomly raiding camps and slaughtering ten or twenty totally innocent people .For these reasons I don't care what wacky apocalyptic deal they come up with.
  9. Wow! Talk about pressure! Good luck to the Stars tonight.

  10. That settles it. Obama and the state can take over them as well. They pretty much tell them what to do now anyway. At least if they were to officially take over they would have no where to hide when the **** hits the fan when their directives fail.
  11. Didn't know my post would be taken so literally. Obviously, or so I thought, the mob scenario was kind of an exaggeration. For effect I suppose. So I officially retract and apologize for such an irresponsible post.
  12. Shut it down for a couple months. No time like the present to start saving money. All the idiots in Congress etc shouldn't get paid either. Including lefty marx in the oval office.
  13. C'mon, you know I'n not calling for the murder of anyone. For myself, I'm not sure who the cheats are anymore. From my perspective, if you earn money your entitled to keep it. Not saying there shouldn't be taxation but you know where I'm going with this. Like everything else it gets abused.
  14. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/04/08/irs-awards-45m-whistleblower/ "It's a win-win for both the government and taxpayers. These are dollars that are being returned to the Treasury that otherwise wouldn't be," Young said. Odd state of things where someone who assisted the government in confiscating money is celebrated like he's some kind of hero. We've got it wrong. Its the government who are stealing. Would be nice if this rat bastard was unknowingly working for a mob outfit. He wouldn't make it to the bank to deposit the cheque.
  15. I wish someone got video. Probably would be pretty funny watching her fall after swinging.
  16. “Then, for no apparent reason (James) struck the victim with an open hand across the right side of his face and in the process causing herself to lose her balance and falling to the ground,” the report states. Hah.
  17. Have you noticed whats going on lately? Nut jobs in the mideast. Lunatic fringe, nuclear dictators with the Pacific rim. Who knows what China will be up to in the next 20-30 years. The only reason your able to operate relatively freely is because of a strong military. I would much rather have a strong defense than being able to sleep at night because some overweight, Macdonald's eating project hud single mom is able to get medical for one her 6 kids she shouldn't have. Sorry for the run on sentence. Also, give it up on taxing the most wealthy. You sound like some cliched idealogical 20 something just out of college. The top 5% earners already pay way to much.
  18. Imagine that, responsible thinking. Didn't seem to stop Obama. But look where we are. Problem is we just can't wait any longer.
  19. I'm not sure if Christie is the guy or not. What I am sure of is that we can't tolerate the damage Mr Wonderful will do with another 4 years. I just hope someone that can win steps up.
  20. Are you for real? 20 people dead is equal to burning a book? Those morons over there are insane. It's that simple
  21. sigh. Vibrant I get a full day no problem with normal use. If I don't game on it or use gps I get up to 32 hours. For example going to the horse races today. Will take the extra battery. Probably won't need it but its nice to know if I want to use my phones features heavily I don't have to worry about charging, Guys I work with use Iphones and they constantly have them charging in the office. No thanks
  22. If you root you can. It really is easy to root and install. Don't have to be I.T. to do it. Like I said in my other post, next Android phone I get it will be the like the Nexus S which is pure Android. Not Sense, Moto Blur or any other skin that just seems to get in the way.
  23. All depends what you want out of your phone. I like my Android Vibrant because it does the things I want it to do with some extra hardware perks others don't have. Hardware. -Removable battery. Very important, to me anyway, if your out away from a charger. Takes two seconds to change out the battery. Very convenient. I see other people that have to drag chargers around if they are out for any length of time -Sim Card. Nice to have if your going to watch movies, shows or have lots of music. Other phones don't have this either -Great HD Amoeled screen. Software -Fully customizable. It's like having a new phone every week if you wanted. If you choose to root your phone(which now is very easy) you can install any number of roms that can really enhance your phone. -Sync with Google apps -Sync's with my Ford Sync's blue tooth flawlessly -Swype is a life changer for texting! These are just a few things that are important to me that may not be as important to you. What I don't like about most Android phones is the layers of software that the carriers put on top of Android. In the case of my phone, the Vibrant, it slowed it down and generally messed things up. It wasn't until I rooted and installed a custom rom did the phone truly realize its potential. Faster. Almost doubled the battery life and so on. My next Android phone will be something like the Nexus S that has pure Android and no software on top. On a side note, my son had Windows Phone 7 HD7 I believe? I really like that phone as well. Almost like the Android Evo but with Zune like software. That phone is closer to the Apple though as the software is more closed and not customizable.
  24. Truth is easy to discredit? Take a look again at the core values of the Tea Party and explain why they are not on the good side. Take another look at Obama's wife and tell me she's good looking or even average. Problem is I can't see your eyes when you say "yes" to confirm your lying.
  25. You think so? Because if thats true no one, at least in government and least of all democrats, act like it. And sure all people are flawed? So what? But some have good ideals(Tea Party) and some (Obama and his Ru Paul wife, democrats)have poor ones like socialism and liberalism. So the flawed human thing is a wash. I'm backing the one that has it right.
