  1. Our prez is a idiot so why not a supreme court justice. Not that unreasonable really
  2. I never said there are not problems. I only said that government isn't the answer. Personally, I have no problems with healthcare. Over the last few years health issues have forced me to use Kaiser quite a bit and the experience has been as positive as it could be expected under the circumstances. We you need quality care it's well worth paying the premiums to get good care. You don't truly think about it until you need it. A little fear in the mix, paying for healthcare is not a concern. I think something that gets lost in all this is the degradation in quality of care that is sure to follow if government is in control. I fear for a lack of doctors. I fear for a lack of research.
  3. Yes. Lets get on with destroying the country. Hopefully this energizes people even more and we will get a majority.
  4. Oh #8 you little rascal. At first I thought you were on my side. Anyway, Juror, do you honestly it's ever a good policy for the government to control anything? Do they do anything efficiently or well? Anything that comes in on budget? Were talking another 18% or so of the economy under their control. To me this is the worst of options.
  5. I guess our last chance is Romney. IF he wins I hope he honors his word. I don't even care for the guy. It's like having to bet on the Cowboys in a Super Bowl over the Pats.
  6. And a inferior brain to go with it.
  7. Bush was no conservative. I think if you really knew anything you would know that. Even so, he was only about half as bad as the current treasonous, Constitution crushing left wing nut job who is in charge now. Conservatives haven't had any kind of control since Reagan. If Conservatives were in power as long as you say we would be in good shape now.
  8. Pretty interesting http://www.theverge.com/2012/6/25/3116869/manhattan-project-oak-ridge-photographs
  9. I would say someone in that government is making a lot of money of this as well.
  10. Some people want to work to get a better life. You know, the whole individual liberty thing that's so out of style. Of course if you just want to "live" you are welcome to do that as well. But while I work my ass off I want the proceeds to be mine. Not to go to support someone else's "living" on a 6 week paid holiday.
  11. Aren't you missing the point? The private sectors money is their own. The governments money is the private sectors. That's why its such a big deal you see.
  12. I like the interface Right now I'm using Zune. I think I like the online streaming of this one better though. How do you listen at home? Through your computer?
  13. Wow someone is awful clingy
  14. Oh yes he would. He would be his dad except he wouldn't have the old school work ethic like Barry does. He would probably have 225 rounds of golf in by now and be just boarding a plane for his 3rd holiday trip in four years to French Guyana.
  15. Congress and system isn't defective the players are. Problem is the prez thinks he's a King not a president.
  16. "Election season is the reason for treason" So the saying goes
  17. Google commemorates almost everything on their homepage with cute designs but ignored Flag Day? Bing scores though. http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2012/06/14/google-ignores-flag-day-while-rival-microsoft-celebrates/
  18. Bar/Restaurant that we go carries 20 draft beers. They continually rotate a dozen or so every week to two weeks. Pliny is among them lots of times. Great beer. It seems to me they have different versions of it. Not sure though. I remember looking at the menu seeing "Pliny The Elder:....." something.
  19. I just watched a trailer from this movie and I will have to give it a look. I saw a good one last weekend called The Pact. Although it's not on Netflix, it's available on Zune(Xbox Live) to see before it comes to the theater. Great little ghost story.
  20. I think boxing has always went after the short buck but it' got worse over the last 20 years or so. No one with a grand view planning for the good and the future of the sport. Used to be, back in the 80s, good, competitive fights on network tv every weekend. Either NBC, CBS or sometimes ABC. I remember Ray Mancini kind of fighting his career on CBS. Hell, even Larry Holmes fought the odd time on one of the networks when he was the champ. I think because of the exposure, the networks they were able to build a good fan base so they then could sell the crap out of their closed circuit and ppv events. Now any match that is remotely competitive or desirable is automatically $60.
  21. Still not clicking for me. I could have forgot. What happened with them?
  22. Great job by the Kings. The management has do a nice job of building through the draft and some fantastic FA's. Mitchell, Richards, Carter and Stoll all were key. Plus I can't believe how they kill penalties. Difference maker in close games.
  23. Have to love this guy http://msn.foxsports.com/ufc/story/Nick-Ring-plays-superhero-in-Calgary-060712
  24. The location of the stadium is just terrible. If you come from the East Bay you take the Bart. On it's own no problem but it arrives no where near Candlestick. The Muni ride is longer than the Bart trip across the bay stopping on every freakin street corner on the way there. Will never do that again. Pretty much better off taking a cab from Bart station to the stadium. As far as the fans I'm neither here nor there. The Niners fans I know are all great people. I have only been to two games there so haven't experienced or witnessed any atrocities. Unless you count a couple dudes passed out in there seats. I think they were Raider fans though.
  25. I don't think Ive ever watched his stand up act but Dana Gould was hilarious on the Adam Carolla Podcast last week.
