First Time in 43 Months Unemployment Drops to 7.8%
Dante replied to 3rdnlng's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I believe this administration will do anything to get elected. Heck, they are strong arming Lockheed not to lay off thousands( due to defense spending cuts) until after November. So he's fixing the unemployment numbers by hiring more government workers??? LoL -
San Francisco is weird... "Spare the Air Day?" No bags in stor
Dante replied to Fezmid's topic in Off the Wall Archives
This morning before coming to work I had time so I turned on the TV and the local SF news is on. It being Fleet Week here there is a reporter doing puff piece on one of the warships docked at one of the piers. So instead of asking questions on the ships armament, radar or missile tech the first comment out of the reporters trap is "This is one of the first green ships in the Navy I'm told. Can you tell me more about it" Or something to that effect. You know, because thats the most important thing about a battleship is how it burns fuel and how clean it's doing it. I know when the Russians decide to take at shot at us in the Pacific I'll sleep better at night knowing our ships are fuggin green. -
1st Debate in Denver Tonight: Thoughts?
Dante replied to dayman's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I just heard the clip and actually chuckled out loud. And this is the guy that lectures us on global warming or climate change or whatever the marketing is these days. And how long until someone Photoshops one of those respirators NFL teams use on the sideline beside Barry? -
That's funny

No it was Brick Top -
Simple as that. Problem is that's exactly the two very things they could not do last Sunday. Man I'm not looking forward to seeing this in person Sunday. Especially since I'm going to go with a Niner fan from work. I'm sure he will have no compassion as Fitz tosses a pick6 at our own 14 yd line. I'm thinking alcohol is the only thing that will make it emotionally tolerable for me. sigh

Going. After last weekends beat down I can't say I'm looking forward to it. Could be ugly.

Republican women Look Twice as 'Feminine' as Democrats
Dante replied to erynthered's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Of course. We all know. They have a deep seeded inferiority complex that fuels the resentment for anyone successful (or pretty). Hence they are leftists trying to bring everyone down to a common mediocre, less than attractive level. -

Romney suggests remedies to the airline industry
Dante replied to CosmicBills's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
He's ran multi million dollar companies and he can't lead? What has Barry ever run? Yeah you got it. Nothing. From Wiki "In 1990, Romney was asked to return to Bain & Company, which was facing financial collapse.[75] He was announced as its new CEO in January 1991[79][80] but drew only a symbolic salary of one dollar[75] (he remained managing general partner of Bain Capital during this time).[79][80] He managed an effort to restructure Bain & Company's employee stock-ownership plan, real-estate deals and bank loans, while rallying the firm's thousand employees, imposing a new governing structure that included Bain and the other founding partners giving up control, and increasing fiscal transparency.[61][65][75] Within about a year, he had led Bain & Company through a turnaround and returned the firm to profitability without further layoffs or partner defections.[65] He turned Bain & Company over to new leadership and returned to Bain Capital in December 1992." This isn't a leader? -
So what do we do here? Keep posting **** back and forth. Like Hawaii is part of Asia? There are 54 states in the US and on and on? But you miss the point. At least Bush is man enough and transparent enough to not hide from his past.
-
I tell you what, although Bush wasn't a A student in college (solid C) at least he is man enough to release his grades. My suspicion is Barry is smart enough to know he's not that bright. Hence the covering up of his grades. Hence the teleprompter. So Bush will always be a better man just for this. And Obama is just a empty suit. Devoid of any real substance.

Damn that's rough. Unfortunate for you he had a qb going up against the Raider D. Their horrible. Foster is always going to do well. Like you I have Rudolph on two pay teams. I think he's the real deal. I sat him in favor of Chandler on the Bills this week. For me, Rudolph is a must start now.
-
It's a piece of history. geeze..I guess the money could have been better spent flying Michell and the kids(on Air Force One) on yet another vaca in French Polynesia or the south of France.
-
lol I sat him!! He got over 40 points in my league. But not just him. I sat Percy Harvin and RG3 who all did better than the guys I started (Brees, Dem Thomas) and I ended still winning by .18 points. That's POINT 18. 122 - 121.82 Did you end up starting Stevie? At least he had a TD
-
I would but he's gone. We have a 14 team league so pickings are thin. I managed to pick up Andre Brown like Matt in KC was saying. It's possible that he is my savior at my weak rb position this season.
-
No way I sit Calvin ever. Bryants match up looks way to tempting to sit. I'd go with him as well. I don't like the Steeler running game at all. So I would start Stevie in your flex. Whats your opinion on my situation this week? I have to pick 2 backs out of 3 in a non ppr. Darrin Sproles. Must start in my opinion. But then I have Jamal Charles against a weak N.O. defense and Alfred Morris at home against Cinci

Now to the important stuff. How hot is that little blond who used to run track? My lord

Flew right over our shop. Clean up guy outside spotted it and got a pic of it. Pretty good shot with the chase plane

Did anyone watch the Az-NE game?

Seems like this adds up to a nice win for the Bills in a couple weeks. Hopefully -
...at running back. I wasn't strong at RB to start with, so when FJax went down it put me trouble. My rb's now are Kevin Smith(vs Niners ugh!) Donald Brown and I picked up Jonathan Dweyer today from the Steelers. I think he may be a good start this weekend. I know Mendanhol is practicing but I can't see him getting to many carries. Do you think Dweyer is a good stop gap for this week? It's not like the Jets are that great at stopping the run.

US Had 48 Hours Notice Of Potential Danger

Where can a busy pres find the time? Between campaign stops in Vegas, appearing on Letterman. A few days ago on some Pink Pimp radio show. Very taxing schedule. -
Explain this Barry. No warning to their our people on the ground in Libya? What a sham he is. He has got to go. And how come it's the UK press that breaks this story? http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/politics/revealed-inside-story-of-us-envoys-assassination-8135797.html
