I have a HTC One S and had a app called Sports Mobile. Great sports scores/news app but it drained my battery pretty fast. Got rid of it and phone was back to normal. I assume the app was continually checking the internet for info. Does the Droid 4 have ICS? Battery life seems significantly better with it as apposed to Froyo I had on my old phone.

We saw "Savages" this weekend. Wasn't expecting a lot being I'm not a big Oliver Stone fan. It was pretty entertaining though. Kept me interested throughout. Good story about a couple pot growers in socal and the Mexican drug cartel moving in on their business. Del Toro his usual great self and Sayek looks fantastic. Nice summer surprise with this one. "The Pact" is on your list Mark and it is another nice surprise. Good little gritty supernatural thriller and I liked the performance of the lead actress. No idea of her name and I didn't really recognize her.

The main job of the Federal government is to defend the country. Not social programs or welfare giveaways. The necessity of engaging in Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam or whatever is certainly debatable, but the need for a strong, superior capable military is not.
