Why is every example of a bad throw by the QB always Losman? Edwards was just as bad. And was bad in what, 3 games, that Losman didn't play in. I' m not a Losman fan, but people, you need to realize that Edwards isn't the Savior. He's made many mistakes and don't go blaming his concussion because he played good against San Diego two weeks after that. Yes, the coaching sucks, but Trent Edwards is supposed to be the leader on the field and too many times he has sucked.

Your math is wrong. Touchdown, point after, field goal equals 10 points. Three field goals eqauls 9 points. San Francisco still would have one, no overtime.

My understanding is that all Buffalo's games are sellouts. As the Toronto is considered a home game for Buffalo it should be included.

Every hunter I know does not leave the deer in the field. Every one that I know will use the meat and some even use the hide. So don't say the ordinary hunter leaves them inthe field.

I doubt he will embrace the Buffalo area. Just because I don't live there doesn't mean that Buffalo isn't a very strong part of my life. I have family there. Many of us who left did so only for economic reasons (i.e., a company closed their offices in Buffalo, laid off, etc.). If you have a family you do what you have to do. He has the opportunity and the means to give something to a community that has embraced him. Kelly didn't want to come to Buffalo, but where has he settled? He is in the Buffalo area, actively running a charity from there (God Bless Hunter). Jack Kemp came to Buffalo from San Diego. He settled here, became a US congressman. Ed Rutkowski played for Notre Dame, came to Buffalo as a qb behind Kemp and Lamaonica, settled here, and became the County Executive. Paul Maguire stayed in the area. Tom Sestak stayed in the area. The two of them owned and operated very successful restaurants for a time. I'm not saying he has to live here permanently but while here he should give something back to the community.

To start, I am not saying he is a good coach. But isn't some of the problem due to the so called "professional football players"? Just maybe the right play was called and they didn't execute the play. How many times did TE check down? I don't think they were called plays from the sidelines. TE looks like a deer in headlights. I think he's scared. He's playing like he's afraid to get hit. He had tiime to throw, but held on to the ball too long and then just dumped it off. (Sound familiar?) On the one interception he stared at the receiver. Nothing like telling the defense who the intended receiver is. The first five wins everyone was saying how great TE could read the defense. What happened? He played good against San Diego after getting knocked out of the Arizona game and having a bye week. Remember these guys get paid mega bucks to play "a game". Many make more in a week then the average person sees in a year. You'd think that factor alone could "motivate" them. (because if they play well they can negotiate for more). Execution of the game is not just coaches, it's the players on the field.

Amen! Trent himself has played badly hiself. Yes the line isn't the greatest but it wasn't great when JP was in there. It's tme to stop blaming thel line totally and lay someof the blame on Trent.
