Pat's was the best. Preferred them over Ted's. When we moved when I was a kid and Louie's was closer, that's where we went. Great curly cues also. Now when I visit Buffalo, have to make a trip to Ted's at least once. Another one that was good when I lived in the City of Tonawanda was Old Man River. Also great sweet potato fries. My husband's favorite is Louie's Texas Red Hots for what he calls "scum dogs" (hot dog with everything). As a kid, he went to Seneca Street near Cazenovia Park. Here in Florida, the best are at home on the grill; haven't found any that compare to back in the Western New York area. When we have someone bring us Sahlens or if we bring some back after a trip up there, nothing better (but will make do with natural casing dogs from a meat store on Manatee Ave. called Chop Shop, which aren't bad), especially with Weber's horseradish mustard which we stock up on when we go to Buffalo. There is a website where you can order Sahlen's and Webers, www.buffalofoods.com, and they will ship anywhere. It's going to cost more. Used to have the website for Bocce's Pizza, but lost it somewhere. For about $60-$65 they'll ship a half-baked pizza anywhere.

I switched from Alltel to Verizon. No problem at all with keeping the same number. It is as easy as it sounds.

When my husband and I still lived in Kenmore, he simply told them he was self-employed (we owned a bar) and because we had less than three employees, he was excused. I don't know if the rules have changed, but at the time it was that simple

VABills, you have not proven that the husband received more money than the $1 million ($700,000 into trust for Terri's care). The links you have posted lead back to a website that is biased towards the parents. No newspaper article I have read here in Florida or any news stations have ever mentioned more than the $1 million received from the malpractice. Of course some are left wing: ABC, CNN, CBS and FOX is right wing; they all lie. I guess that leaves NBC. Again they have not mentioned any more money than I have previously mentioned. Yes, he might sell his story. But remember, the parents probably will also!!!! So who's right, who's wrong? It's not for us to say. But this case has gone through seven years of litigation. This was not done in a "rush" as some are claiming. To erynthered, I agree, let Terri have peace.

To Crap Throwing Monkey, I find you extremely crude and disrespectful calling Terri Shiavo "a piece of meat". I think that is demeaning to the person she once was and to those who loved her. To those who claim that the husband will be rich when this is over, where's the proof? Has any of you seen this so-called policy that will make him a rich man? He sure didn't become rich from the malpractice suit. While, again, I am not choosing sides, let's at least not be rumor-mongors like the media. Have some sympathy for the family that is going through this, both the husband and the parents. Have some sympathy for Terri and let her have peace whether she lives or dies.

What I find so amazing is that people are so willing to believe the worst of the husband. I'm not saying he is right to have the feeding tube removed, but why now after 15 years is he being accused of abuse? Why wasn't he accused then? There was no falling out with her parents until he received the malpractice settlement (which most of went for Terri's care) and he didn't give them any. My biggest problem with this whole situation is the way government (FL State Legislature, Jeb Bush, U.S. Congress, G.W.) has interfered. I don't like the fact that they jumped in even after this case had been looked at by 19 judges and a multitude of doctors who have stated that there is no hope for recovery from this vegetative state. The latest doctor who has stated that she is misdiagnosed just read her medical records and viewed the video tapes. He has not done an thorough examination of her. Is that the way to make a proper diagnosis?
