  1. You're telling me you wouldn't take a playoff appearance after 9 years? Are you serious? You wouldn't because your logic appears to be that you don't want to be embrassed? Only 1 team wins it all my friend, give me an end to this drought.
  2. Amen! It's nights like tonight that make me happy to be a fan. We're not going to win them all, but at least this game we played an entertaining game. This was much more easier to swallow than last weeks debacle. We can't overact and slit our wrists and beat our dogs can we? The sun will shine tomorrow and we will fight again. There's an outside chance 5 and 1 down the stretch get's us into the playoffs. I think we'll end 6-10, but 10-6 would be nice and while we hope for the best, we prepare & expect the worse. All we need is to rip off another 4 game winning streak and who knows?
  3. Is it me or does Edwards struggle in cold weather, why not wear gloves like Warner, Big Ben, Brady, Doug Flutie, etc...? Would it really matter?
  4. Like I said 6-10. Only K.C. the only game I thought we'd win from here out is looking more and more doubtful. We probably will get the 10th to 16th pick in the '09 Draft.
  5. It's obvious Trent Edwards played terrible in the first quarter. What was most promosing was the Bills use of the running backs in the passing game, and I attribute that to Trent Edwards. I am a JP Losman guy, but I liked the way TE hung in there and gave what the Browns gave him. We finally ran the ball with authority and our short passing game was an extension of it. Lindell, Edwards, and Fred Jackson should not be hung out to dry for this loss. Who to blame........? The coaches - period. Last week I blamed Edwards and called for Losman to start. I don't think Losman keeps us in the game tonight, with Cleveland taking away Lee Evans who is our only legit receiver. Yes JP would have hit more deep passes, but we would have incurred more 3 and outs as he rarely looks to check down and is inaccurate at best in the short game. The coaches i.e. Turk Schonert & Dick Jauron know that our opponents are going to double team Lee Evans. Going with that logic than the underneath passes to Jackson & Lynch will be open. I applaud Edwards for not pressing and throwing a 4th pick. The windows were tight, no doubt, Edwards needs to let the ball rip. As Jaworski pointed out "Edwards needs to throw into space and not wait for the receiver to get open." Edwards can improve in this area. Let's blame this game on Schonert & Jauron for not calling on more runs & short passes to begin with. What we got early tonight was an offense as that does not have legitimate second option at the receiver position and is in denial because they play as if they have one. Hardy is a WIP & Roscoe is no more than a punt returner. Johnson a 7th round rookie is more dangerous and that's scary. Josh Reed is surely missed. But this game comes down to the coaching & it's a sad day when Romeo Crennel outcoaches you. Is it a shock that coaches as indecisive as Juaron have a QB as indecisive as Edwards.
  6. Is Edwards struggling - yes, is he making costly mistakes - yes, is his confidence waning - yes. JP is playing out the final year of his rookie contract. He has nothing to lose, and everything to gain. He's not Brett Favre, nor is he Jake Plumber, he's JP Losman. Most Bills fans don't like him for artificial reasons; I've heard he talks like a black guy and is 1/2 Mexican. He may not have as high of an "IQ" as Edwards, nor possess his mastery of the "possession game", but he did have a better season as a 25 year old if Edwards continues his downward spiral. Why not give JP one last opportunity?
  7. I'm gonna defend myself, as I don't call myself flea. I've been to all the big games in the early 90's I watch all the games brother. The issue is we need a QB who plays with emotion like Kelly or Favre. Edwards does nothing for us, the defensive coordinators around this league have figured him out. At least Losman threw TDS! Trent Edwards in 2008, 7 TDS in 8 complete games. That's terrible.
  8. 10-6 will do the trick, but this team does not appear capable of going 5-2 down the stretch. Vegas would put better odds on us finishing 2-5 than 5-2. I think we can win any of our next 3 games if we bring our B game, but I just don't see 10-6. Imagine we're 9-6 heading into the final game against New England - it's highly unlikely we'd prevail.
  9. Let me clarify JP is born in 1981 and was 25 in 2006. TE is born in 1983 and is 25.
  10. Well this is just great you claim he couldn't hit slants or crosses. I'll give you that however the Bills chose to draft James Hardy a guy who couldn't run one of those patterns to save his life. Evans and Hardy possess the ability to stretch the field which favors JP's talents over TE's. We should have drafted DeShean Jackson, Eddie Royal or another "Roscoe" type if we wanted to look good on the underneath stuff. Wes Welker is great, but he doesn't win games my friends. You need a guy who can pluck jump balls out of the air and create space.
  11. If that is down by contact, than it must be re-written. What is this college football?
  12. JP can beat the next 3 teams, TE right now highly unlikely. JP's confidence is higher than ever right now, TE's is in the tank. If Jeff Fisher can bench Vince "The Franchise" Young surely we can give JP one last chance.
  13. Hahahaha. BS and you know it. Guys the bottom line is in a few years the Bills are gone. Repeat GONE. The time to win is now! Hindsight is 20/20 I know, however I'm talking about the future. You don't think JP Losman could beat the shite out of the next 3 teams?
  14. JP Losman has more heart and physical talent than TE ever will. If it wasn't for a cheap Vince Wilfork hit to the knee last year TE wouldn't even be talked about. TE was an experiment, a 3rd rounder with 3rd round talent. Supposedly Bill Walsh said he'd be a good one according to Marv Levy. Let's give our first rounder one last shot, before it's too late. I guarantee ya'll one thing, he won't be afraid. If you were to compare JP Losman's stats to Eli Manning's in 2006 you'd be surprised.
