If your question is whether I would prefer to go to the playoffs than not go to the playoffs, I would prefer to go to the playoffs. Once in the playoffs, anything can happen. I cannot stand the fact that we have not even sniffed the playoffs since the home run throw up.

I was hoping for more this season. As long as you guys understand that we are basically giving up on this season for the sake of one guy (which apparently was the original plan). At this point, I would prefer Holcomb as long as we still have a playoff chance. Once they are out of it, put JP in and find out whether he is, in fact, the QB of the future.

"Doing" something for the "team" is trying to win some games. "Doing" something for an individual is handing over the offense to an untested first year QB. So far this season, we have done both.

I chose Sirius primarily because it has the NFL. It has been great. It has some great music and talk stations. It has made my commute bearable.

They would not have won the game without Terry Porter though.

Inconsistent protection.

Some people are being overly hard on the guy because his name is Kelly Holcomb and not JP Losman. There is no doubt that the last pass of the game was a bad decision. Yet, the guy has given the offense a spark. We were in a position to win the game. We didn't. It was a lot more exciting than watching some of the earlier games.

Did Tedy play last night? Gee, I don't recall his name ever being mentioned during the game. I thought that he was in Iraq being greeted as a liberator.

It is not over guys.

We just got our power back. It was a lot stronger storm when it hit the East coast of Florida than we expected. We are all fine. The house held up well. We lost a fence, parts of two oaks, and two large palm trees. There also was a lot of debris. We have spent the better part of the past four days cleaning up. Fortunately, I bought a small generator on Saturday, and we were able to run the refrigerator and some appliances and the TV. Yet, you could not imagine the lines for gas. All in all, we have very little to complain about. It could have been a lot worse.
