  1. It is difficult to tell. We have not been able to get them the ball consistently.
  2. Now everything makes sense.
  3. At this point, we really have no choice but to stick with Losman and hope that he can get it together and right the ship. The Bills made their decision and there really is not alternative at this point. Unless Holcomb shows them something that he has not shown on the field yet, let's see what JP can do so that the Bills can evaluate whether he is the QB of the future if not the present. Unless we can get it together soon (with any luck beginning this week by kicking the sh*t out of the Dolphins), this season appears to be another disappointing season in which the Bills fail to make the playoffs yet again. It really is too bad given all of the high hopes that we had for the season.
  4. I already have Sirius - not because of Stern (although I probably will listen to him at times), but because I could not stand listening to all of the commercials during my commute to work. It is great. If XM had the NFL channel and games, I may have considered it. I am a bit bummed that XM is going to have the exclusive with the NHL in a year or two.
  5. Coincidentally, he lived a few blocks away from me when I was growing up in Williamsville. When he moved to Miami, he bought a house about five minutes away from where my wife, son, and I live. The sad thing is that, when I was growing up, I used to stop by his house with friends and he could not have been a nicer guy (unlike a lot of celebrities that you meet). It is sad to think that he is capable of doing what happened.
  6. Winning football games at the line of scrimmage is about as quaint as the Geneva Convention. If we had a dominating o-line (as we did when we were going to those Super Bowls), our offense would be a lot more succesful (regardless of who our QB is). We did not do JP any favors by pretending that the problem with our o-line was simply the fault of his predecessor.
  7. Unfortunately, I am starting to hear that down here in Miami from all of these Dolphin fans. I really hope that we kick their ass this weekend.
  8. Great example. No one ever talks about that anymore (at least not since I saw him on the news yesterday).
  9. For the record, is that supposed to mean that we are not allowed to discuss it.
  10. I would feel better if we started winning games and Bills management realized the real problems with this team.
  11. Just for the record, there was no recent startling discovery. I saw the replay recently (which reminded me of what I had observed way back then when I watched a recording of the game after attending the game in person) and thought I would bring this up for discussion. Who knew that a post about what was probably the most significant play in Buffalo Bills history would elicit the responses that it did.
  12. That was all that you could come up with?!? You are boring me.
  13. That is "Big Tool" to you. I never saw it before I posted it. Excuse me. It is quite humorous that this has gotten such a reaction out of you.
  14. You are forgetting Kemp/Lamonica.
  15. No, they just call you by your name.
  16. We have been over this. Ask Parcells about those plays.
  17. Interestingly, I just did a search and found out that two others brought this subject up in separate discussions on January 28th and February 5th. See below. Just as interesting, no one seemed to take such offense that this subject was brought up on a football board that focuses on the Bills. January 28th thread February 5th thread P.S. I saw McCartney almost two weeks ago. If you get a chance to see him, you may want to check it out. He was great.
  18. Houston, I mean Buffalo, we have got a problem.
  19. Don't forget putting an expressway on the waterfront.
  20. The Bills management did not do either DB or JP any favors by ignoring the problems that we have with the line.
  21. It is funny how things have changed. Back then, we expected to go to the playoffs. It is unbelievable that our last playoff appearance was in the home run throwup game.
  22. The point is that the Bills "brain trust" made the wrong decision on so many different levels. They deluded themselves into believing that the ills of this team were attributable to one player (who happens to be having a pretty good year thus far). P.S. It is funny that you mention Flutie. How many games did he start for the Bills where the Bills scored in the teens or below?
  23. If you are saying that Tom Brady is better than DB. You are correct. Tom Brady is as good a QB as there is in the game. JP is not better than DB at this stage of their careers though.
