  1. Taylor is pretty good. He has made a lot of players look bad with his speed.
  2. Just the facts: Comp -24 Att - 35 Yards - 289 % - 68.6 TDs - 3 Rating - 122.2 Dallas - 33 Phil - 10
  3. You have one excuse after another.
  4. Not enough blocking.
  5. Teams did the same thing with JP in there. We are going to have to find a way to loosen things up one way or another. Our line has a tough enough time blocking even when there are not 8 defenders in the box.
  6. McGee has become one of our most valuable players.
  7. Badly. At the end of games, good offensive lines are supposed to get those tough yards and move the chains. We do not have a line yet that can do that. They also looked pretty bad when Miami turned it on in the second half. We were pretty hopeless trying to block Taylor or when they were blitzing.
  8. I am so happy with the win. Yet, with Miami turning the ball over 5 times and committing 18 penalties, we really should have blown them out. It is a great start though. There is still hope.
  9. He will be one of the guys I will be paying extra attention to.
  10. Your approach is much healthier. I have to admit that when my son asked me to play with his Thomas the Tank Engine trains with him, it helped put things in perspective. (He has not graduated to Chutes and Ladders yet).
  11. It is one of their bigger promotions.
  12. You wouldn't believe some of the things that have happened at Dolphin Stadium/Pro Player/Joe Robbie/the Orange Bowl since I have been going to Bills games down here.
  13. In my case, it was not so much that I chose a team in the conventional sense. It was and is part of my heritage. I remember going to the Rockpile with my Dad since the time I was about 5 years old. I will never forget all of the Sunday afternoons that my Dad and I spent supporting the Bills from when I was a kid until he passed away. One of my regrets is that my Dad never got a chance to see the Bills in the Super Bowl. The last game he saw was Kelly's second game as a Bill. Now that I have a son, I am passing on to him what my Dad and I shared. I could never choose another team. Living in Miami, a lot of Dolphin fans ask me why don't I adopt the Dolphins instead. What an idiotic question. How can you be a real fan of a team if you do not stick with them through thick and thin and no matter where you live. I will always be a Bills fan and will always have my season tickets. That is just the way it is -- no matter how frustrating it may be.
  14. Given the expectations that we had versus the pathetic and hopeless way they have played, it has been about as bad as it gets. This board went from playoff aspirations and beyond to talking about whether we should draft Leinart with the first pick. I am glad that you are enjoying it though. Again, you also missed the point of the post.
  15. That is what got me into trouble in the first place.
  16. No, you can call me "Peter the realist." I did not realize that you were having so much fun watching these past three games. You also missed the point of the post. No matter how bad it gets, we are Bills fans and have no choice but to continue to support this team.
  17. If we lose on Sunday (the way that we have in the past three games) , these past few weeks are going to look pretty tame. My wife keeps on asking me why I torture myself by watching the unwatchable. These past few weeks have been about as bad as it has been in the four decades that I have been living and dying with this team -- especially with all of the expectations that many of us had for this team. I have been miserable during the games and after the games. After each game, I ask myself why I continue to torture myself with this team. There is only one answer - We have no choice being Bills fans. The only real choice we have is beer or vodka.
  18. No one can blame Moulds for wanting to win. Hell, I (and presume all of us) want to win. These past three games have been about as pathetic as they get. I would much rather go to the playoffs with the possibility of losing then continue to watch the unwatchable. We will know soon enough whether Holcomb is part of the solution. We already know that JP's performance in the last three games did not justify the Bills off season decisions (which include not adequately addressing the glaring problems with the line that have existed for so many years).
  19. I think that it is pretty obvious that this change would not have been made if the vets were not in favor of it. We shall see if it has a positive effect on the team. Winning will resolve a lot of this controversy -- especially if Holcomb plays well. This game is now all the more important. I just hope that we have wasted another first round pick for a QB that is not going to be here as a starter for the long term. I thought that it was a mistake to give JP the keys to the offense this year, but having made the decision, it seemed best to let him try to work through his problems. The Bills have now reversed themselves yet again. I really hope that this is the correct decision for the team and for JP's long term development. If we can right the ship and make the playoffs, the change will look brilliant. If not, the Bills will have shown yet again that their off season decisions were a mistake which was further compounded by this one.
  20. He was pretty shaky on at least two of those goals. I hope that he can tighen it up.
  21. If WGR announced it, you can almost count on JP starting.
  22. GMC Denali -- that is what he actually drives.
  23. I find that it helps to be drinking during the game. It becomes easier to watch.
