Actually, you should have heard Bill Parcells describe those plays. On the one running play, there was a blown blocking assignment. On the fade, the receiver was covered and ran out of real estate. On the fourth down play, the receiver should have caught it. According to Parcells, it would have been a first down. For what it was worth, Parcells seemed most pissed off about Demarcus Ware lining up in the neutral zone. According, to Parcells, that cost them three points (which ended up being the difference in the game). In the end, DB had a decent game. He did not have a great game. The Cowpokes lost.

It is sports. It is not life and death. We can agree to disagree. Beauty (and refereeing) are in the eye of the beholder.

When the ref closest to the play calls no interference and another guy far away from the play calls interference 10 seconds later, there is reason to at least be pissed off. The amazing thing is that the refs did not even huddle to at least discuss why one ref (closest to the play) called it one way, and another (farther away) called it another. If that happened to the Bills, it would go down in history with the "no goal" game 6 against the Stars. P.S. One good thing came from that game . . . in a strange and brutal manner. If WM had not been hurt in that game, we never would have had the opportunity to draft him.

I never saw the friggen movie o great one. Now, I suppose I will have to rent it to find out whether there was a reference to Frank Reick mishandling the hold. In the meantime, I will rent "Liar Liar" to see TD telling us that this team would be better with JP rather than DB this year.
