Do you guys remember the days when we used to be good and went to Super Bowls? Anyway, I have been meaning to post this for some time. On the infamous kick at the end of the Giant SB game, take a look at Frank Reich's hold. I love Frank, but you will notice that the laces are pointed toward the right. As you know, the kick was barely wide right. I don't know whether I have heard anyone else mention this. In any event, most people give poor Scotty a disproportionate amount of the blame. P.S. I am not related to Scott Norwood.

Literally as the play was unfolding, I told my buddy not to worry because it would be called back. It was obvious to me at least. As I also commented in the previous post, we used poor judgment by not staying in our lanes.

You keep saying that but you cannot even articulate a reason. He won with both QBs. P.S. The offense had that game won in Tennessee. If it were not for that BS call (and poor judgment on the kick coverage), we would have been the team that went to the SB.

I was there. Were you? You still have not given me a reason. What does the "homerun throw up" have to do with mismanaging the QB situation? What does management's decisions to pay QBs have to do with the HC mismanaging the QB situation. The fact is that Wade won with both QBs.

Yeah, right. Keep saying that and you might convince even yourself. The guy is the third ranked QB in the NFC. What is our QB ranked? Even in the two Cowboy losses, they came down to the end of the game. In our three losses, we were pathetic.

"Where would you rather like to be than right here right now." For some strange reason, I have not felt that way these past three weeks.

As Marv (I think) said, once you start listening to the fans, you will end up sitting next to them.

We need to beat the Dolphins for so many reasons. Most importantly, it is the hated Dolphins. Many of you know what it was like to go 0 for the '70s against them. It was horrible. I was at the game in Buffalo when we beat them for the first time in more than 10 years. Luckily, I also was at the Orange Bowl when we beat them there for the first time there (I think since the '60s). That was Marino's first start and Joe Ferguson probably had his best game as a Bill. Man was it enjoyable to hear the crickets in the Orange Bowl after we won. I will never forget it.

There would be people on this board that would try to find things to B word and moan about him as well.

Many of you criticized DB for saying that he did not want to back up JP. There is no way that DB should be a back up to JP at this point in either of their careers. DB is playing for a coach and team that know how to use his talents. JP is stuck on a team that made the misjudgment of advancing his time table and not appreciating the importance of an o-line that is necessary for any QB to be effective. As a result, we are in the process of wasting this year because of management's hubris. Rather than correcting the real flaws on this team, they chose to blame it all on DB (as did many on this board) and outsmarted themselves. I just hope that we can salvage something from this year -- hopefully with kicking the sh*t out of the Dolphins this week.

Please explain how you think that Wade mishandled the QB situation.

Wade was a great coach for us. What we have had since proves that. He did not mismanage the QB situation in my opinion. Moreover, not all of us were happy that they got rid of him and hired GW. I thought it was stupid. The main complaint people had with Wade was the inane complaint that he did not wear a headset. That shows the "depth" of analysis that people had and is pretty well indicative of complaining just to complain. If I owned the Bills, I would not hesitate to hire Wade again. I also would not hesitate to hire Bill Polian again. I love Ralph, but the decisions to let those guys go were big mistakes.

What could have been . . . .

It is my understanding that TD wanted Ralph to get rid of Wade before he would take the job so that he could hire his own guy.

BS. They never quit. I never felt the Bills were as hopeless as they appear to be now.
