  1. I don't blame him. I get headaches watching this team.
  2. I love Friday Night Lights. I used to be a big fan of the Dillon Panthers. I am now a fan of East Dillon -- which is bit like being a fan of the Buffalo Bills. P.S. The guy who plays the coach was born in Buffalo.
  3. I did not see the game today. I have watched a lot of his games though. Most of the time, he seems to have enough time to eat both lunch and dinner back there.
  4. Chad is great. I wish he were on our team.
  5. Where are you guys getting the 4 sacks allowed figure? According to profootbalfocus.com, he has allowed 2 sacks, 1 QB hit, and 3 pressures. PFF - Tackles stats and ratings By contrast, our left tackle (the one who has started the majority of games), has 5 sacks, 5 QB hits, and 17 pressures. For comparison purposes, Joe Thomas has 2 sacks, 3 QB hits, and 4 pressures. Jake Long has 3 sacks, 2 QB hits, and 4 pressures. You can go to the linked site to get the stats for all of the tackles.
  6. Marshawn is not what I had hoped for. Nevertheless, I would never want Larry Johnson on my team.
  7. Oh brother. Whatever. You can have that big baby Cutler. Denver has not missed a beat with Kyle Orton as their QB. It just goes to show you how important an offensive line is to QB and the skill positions. As for your opinion regarding my football knowledge . . . yawn.
  8. You obviously did not see my response to your earlier post. Check out post 17 in this string. Just to be clear, I will quote it for you:
  9. You can have him. I would rather see what Edwards can do behind a good offensive line. If not Edwards, I would still love to see a Buffalo Bills QB play behind a good Buffalo Bills offensive line.
  10. Our guys get hit twice as often after attempting fewer passes and you think that the Bears line is not much better in pass protection?!?
  11. His absence has really hurt Denver.
  12. If you like our offensive line's performance, you and I see the game completely differently. By the way, you are looking at the stats wrong. Cutler has attempted 239 passes. Edwards and Fitz have attempted 223 passes combined. In other words, Buffalo QBs have attempted fewer passes but have been hit almost twice as often.
  13. The fact of the matter is that our QBs have to play behind that inexperienced line. The line is not graded on a curve. There is a huge difference in the QB hits. One also can extrapolate from these stats that our QBs have much less time to throw the ball to our receivers. All you have to do is watch the Bills to see how quickly the pocket collapses. Maybe our line will get better with experience. They obviously are not there yet. We also have been hit with injuries. We really miss Butler. Nevertheless, our inexperience, the injuries, and lack of quality up front have hurt our entire offense.
  14. Born Under a Bad Sign - Cream.
  15. I would love to see a Buffalo Bills QB (whether it is Edwards or anyone else) play behind a good offensive line. It has been years since we had a good offensive line. I don't care who you put back there, we need a good line. It all starts up front. P.S. You can have Cutler.
  16. I always liked Jabari. I wish he was still on the team.
  17. You seem to have forgotten something. Cutler has a much better offensive line. NFL.com - offensive line Compare the sacks and the QB hits.
  18. If he wants to bring a Super Bowl trophy to Buffalo, he can start by bringing a quality offensive line to Buffalo.
  19. If Bill Polian had been allowed to stay, there is no doubt in my mind that we would have had continued success and the last 16 years would have been very different -- especially the past 9 years.
  20. Why would we give any feedback given that our line has performed so well this year. Sarcasm off.
  21. I like Jim, but it was a bit odd to read this article and his critique given his refusal to even play for the Bills when he was drafted in part because our substandard offensive line at the time. Right now, our line is piss poor. One would have thought that Kelly (of all people) would appreciate the problems our QB (and other skill players) face because of the state of our line. Of course, Kelly was spoiled playing behind the line that he had. Perhaps if Kelly played behind this line, he would appreciate where the source of our troubles is.
  22. It all starts up front. Unfortunately for us, our QB, our, RBs, and our WRs, it is not getting done up front. This is a broken record. Unless and until our offensive line upgrades its play or is upgraded, don't expect much success on offense.
  23. You are 100% correct. I wish other people on this board (and at OBD) realized this.
  24. TO's reference to the young line and injuries
  25. Edwards Update Sorry if already posted somewhere else.
