If three guys cannot make a play on that Hail Mary . . . we are in trouble. You can continue to make excuses. You said earlier (what do you want them to do, tackle the guy) - that would have been better than letting him score. You unintentionally solved the "mystery" if our three guys could not defend the play. Thanks.

Why Did You Become a Buffalo Bills Fan?
Peter replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Short answer: Family DNA. -
This basically what I would have posted. Why would Romo give up such a great gig that he clearly enjoys and is paid handsomely for the kind of life that these coaches in the NFL have to live. In his current gig, everyone love him and he has very little if any pressure.

Again, I never said that we should blow things up in the middle of the season. I just have never been very impressed with McCoach since his arrival. I hope I am wrong.

Trouble in Paradise! Diggs sulking on the final drive

Not a good look. He is a very good player. I hope that this was a one off. -
Oh brother. I have decades invested in this team. I am not going to stop watching . . . and I also will continue to be an independent thinker when it comes to the Bills and Sabres (and everything else). P.S. Where did I say that we should blow things up in the middle of the season?!?!

True . . . and it ended up being a mirage.

Ask yourself, did we go to the playoffs because: (1) the team and head coach were that good; or (2) was it because we had relatively easy schedules, relatively fewer injuries . . . and a one and a million fourth down 49-yard TD pass by Andy Dalton?
-
McCoach has been very, very fortunate with both the schedule and relatively few injuries in prior years. This year is a real test for him. We shall see how this year goes. Personally, I have had my reservations about him from the beginning. The good news for him is that he has a GM who supports him and is not trying to undermine him.

I always loved Wade. He never should have been fired by Ralph.

Thanks for posting. Great tribute by his son.

As a Canes fan, I have a feeling (and hope) that things are turning around. UM has a huge game against Clemson coming up. It would be great to beat them, but I really hope that we can at least make a game of it (Clemson is that good). Playing Clemson well at Clemson would certainly move the program in the right direction. Winning would be even better. P.S. D'Eriq King has been fantastic. If he plays well, we at least have a shot. P.P.S. Fun fact, the Gators' QB Trask backed up King in high school. They both seem like great guys (as well as very good QBs).

Gayle Sayers - by all accounts, you were a wonderful man and outstanding football player. When I was a kid, I remember watching Brian's Song and loved the relationship that Gayle and Brian Piccolo had. They are now back together again. RIP Gayle. Scene from Brian's Song - "I love Brian Piccolo"
