  1. Just an observation guys . . . .
  2. Sadly, if the Pats sign him, Brady will turn him into a star.
  3. Well, I guess "personnel not fitting the scheme" explains Nigel's missed tackle against the Giants . . . .
  4. You are very funny. Please compare how many posts I have written on the subject to: How many you and the other Rex Haters have written.
  5. I would not even bother but for the fact that the Rex Haters seem to be the "loudest" on this board. It is funny how you guys continue to defend Mario. As an aside, I was once as big of a defender of Mario (and St. Doug for that matter) as one could be. Both those guys are quitters and we are better off without them. On the other hand, Rex and his family have embraced Buffalo . . . and yet, there are those who want to run him out of town . . . and after one year at that.
  6. Whatever. If defensive genius Jim Schwartz really wanted Mario, they would have at least brought him in. Instead, Mario is taking whatever is left of his talents to South Beach. In the meantime, the Rex haters can continue to claim that: (1) Rex ruined the defense; (2) Jim Schwartz never had Mario drop into coverage; (3) It is all Rex's fault that the highest paid football player in Buffalo Bills history decided to take the year off.
  7. Eagles DE ($12.827M): http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/philadelphia-eagles/positional/defensive-end/ DE Spending by team (Dolphins now lead the pack with $23.816M: http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/positional/defensive-end/
  8. I know I have been accused of beating a dead horse, but it is funny that Jim Schwartz never lifted a finger to try to sign Mario (given that Rex Haters claim Rex misused Mario and that Schwartz is a defensive savant while Rex personally ruined our D)
  9. Apparently, Nigel has signed with them.
  10. The Dolphins ended up losing Vernon. This is good for us. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/03/09/giants-add-olivier-vernon-to-free-agent-haul/
  11. Humor is in the eye of the beholder. You have something in common with my wife and kids who (much of the time) do not "appreciate" my humor. I love them so your not appreciating my "humor" does not disqualify you in any regard. As for your Rex material . . . it got old a long, long time ago. P.S. Anyone who goes by "FireChan" cannot be particularly adverse to beating a dead horse given that Chan was the HC a couple of coaches ago.
  12. Speaking of "horses to beat," let's count the number of posts that you have written about Rex . . . .
  13. Mario would have people think that he was playing cornerback last year. The tape does not lie Mario. P.S. It is also fascinating that Jim Schwartz did not appear to make any effort to have the Eagles sign Mario. One could say that, by not making any effort, Schwartz pulled a Mario.
  14. Yep. After all of the millions that he made as a Buffalo Bill, I am still waiting for him to display the same class a Leodis, Boobie, and Kraig Urbik. I have a feeling that I will have to keep on waiting. On a positive note, the deer in Orchard Park are happy.
  15. I wonder if the Eagles probably preferred to a deal for Kiko with a team other than the Bills so as not to highlight last year's trade.
  16. You can try to sugar coat what he did all you want. The fact is that he pulled a Doug Marrone. Pulling a Doug Marrone: quit1 [kwit] /kwɪt/ SpellSyllables Synonyms Examples Word Origin See more synonyms on Thesaurus.com verb (used with object), quit or quitted, quitting. 1. to stop, cease, or discontinue: She quit what she was doing to help me paint the house. 2. to depart from; leave (a place or person): They quit the city for the seashore every summer. 3. to give up or resign; let go; relinquish: He quit his claim to the throne. She quit her job. 4. to release one's hold of (something grasped). 5. to acquit or conduct (oneself). 6. to free or rid (oneself): to quit oneself of doubts. 7. to clear (a debt); repay. verb (used without object), quit or quitted, quitting. 8. to cease from doing something; stop. 9. to give up or resign one's job or position: He keeps threatening to quit. 10. to depart or leave. 11. to stop trying, struggling, or the like; accept or acknowledge defeat. adjective 12. released from obligation, penalty, etc.; free, clear, or rid (usually followed by of): quit of all further responsibilities.
  17. I am looking forward to when Mario returns to Buffalo and kisses the charging Buffalo . . . .
  18. My guess is that the Dolphins insert language in the contract that would allow them to get out of the contract after the first year to protect themselves (regardless of what his agent or others release as the total $$$ in the contract). If not, the Dolphins are stupid. Also, I would much rather face a Dolphin team with Mario than with Olivier Vernon. The Dolphins have gotten worse.
  19. I am happy for Leo. Now, it will be interesting to see whether the Eagles sign Mario given that the Rex Haters on this board believe that the only thing separating Mario from being a first ballot HOF is Jim Schwartz.
  20. Very interesting. Thank you.
  21. This could work out great for the Bills: Dolphins sign Mario to a huge contract with a lot of guarantied money. Dolphins are unable to afford Vernon or Wake. Mario does his version of the Doug Marrone for the Dolphins in 2016 as he did for the Bills in 2015.
  22. Mario gave NO effort for most of the season. That is worse than not playing well.
