  1. Now THERE is some free thinking. Hate and intolerance, just what the world needs more of. Particularly at this juncture. I tend to think CTM pontificates overmuch on occasion, and don't hesitate to slap him when I feel like it, but not in such a vile way. What little credibility your argument may have had is now quite easily dismissed since you've shown that maybe China isn't the only place on earth where people do bad things.
  2. I saw a headline on CNN.com that up to 800,000 jobs could be lost due to slowing construction. Ouch.
  3. Garters, or no?
  4. Both of them imploded, didn't they? It was still fun to watch.
  5. You know, I didn't even realize he was gone. Did he finally get arrested for stealing satellite service? Picking on winguts these days is like...like playing the hapless Dolphins. There's just not much sport in it any more. I just like to kick back and watch them implode.
  6. Black socks, or tube socks with red and yellow stripes? Or perhaps one of each...yeah, that sounds about right.
  7. I never forget, but hope springs eternal. It's one of the things that separates us from them.
  8. Well, when they're done with this earth-shattering and all-important matter, they can turn their attention to the fact that much of the 9/11 Commission's recommendations are STILL not implemented... But hey, I am gonna be loaded down with scissors when I board the plane for Buffalo December 16. I have a pair of cuticle scissors so sharp I could slice someone's jugular....and best of all, they fall within the acceptable size!!!!!! That's our gubmint at work, pertecktin us as always.
  9. Just because you may be singularly uninformed, doesn't mean it's not happening. You can read the Dallas Morning News online, there were plenty of articles and op ed / letters this past week.
  10. Flick? Flick Who? Flick wasn't permanently damaged! Now, Scott Farkus, he probably never got over his humiliation. And I wonder what became of Grover Dill, his crummy little toadie? This is all really going to confuse CTM I'm afraid.
  11. Ah but I do and I'm not the only one. Some of you process serially, others can do it in parallel. That you don't understand just means you don't process the same way I do and perhaps are not willing to try to step outside your comfort zone. If you'd lived in TX, as EII says, you'd know.
  12. That's right we have to walk and talk baby steps for some people. I should have responded to Mickey's post "You are rightl In fact it's a cultural thing down there. If Osama bin Laden was from Ding Dong, TX, they'd back him to the hilt because he's THEIR sumbitch. For example, look at how they are rallying around the criminal Michael Irvin, who is a disgrace to his former team and the City of Dallas." etc. Is that too hard for you? Shall I go more slowly?
  13. Exactly. But they'll defend him no matter what. At least he didn't have any self-employed models in the car. They're all in Minneapolis I hear.
  14. If it's one of their own any principles they have are tossed to the wind. They're OUTRAGED for example that Michael Irvin was pulled over for exceeding the speed limit by 18 MPH - and then because he had an outstand warrant, his car was searched and he was busted for a dope pipe....freaking guy broke the law and is being treated like any one of the rest of us. If it was, say, Brent Farve or JP Losman, if they even noted it, their reaction would be "prima donna doped up dumb jock."
  15. So? Our ancestors used emminent domain to take the land from the Indians in the first place. Only THEN it was called Manifest Destiny.
  16. Yup you got it folks, we're losing a couple more of those world powerhouses in Iraq. Bulgaria and Ukraine, what will we do without them. So pathethic that the only "major" country we could recruit was the UK.
  17. Sure you do. I have an arsenal of power tools any many would love to get his hands on.
  18. You frame houses too? Truly a Renaissance man.
  19. French doctors perform first partial face transplant 09:44 AM CST on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 Associated Press LYON, France - Doctors have performed the world's first partial face transplant, grafting a nose, lips and chin onto a patient disfigured by a dog bite, two French hospitals said Wednesday. The surgery on the 38-year-old woman was performed Sunday, said a statement from medics at hospitals in Lyon and Amiens. The surgery was performed in Amiens in northern France, but doctors from both hospitals participated. The statement said the woman was in "excellent" condition, and the transplanted organs looked "normal." The woman was disfigured by a dog bite in May. The organs were taken from a donor who was brain dead, with the family's consent, the statement said. Experts say the mouth and nose are the most difficult parts of the face to transplant. Doctors elsewhere have performed scalp and ear transplants.
  20. I'd imagine it depends on who you drop it on...and who does the dropping. One man's WMD is just a tool in another man's perfectly-justified pre-emptive strike.
  21. No problem with his desire to become a tax-paying citizen instead of being on the dole, but typically one works at a job one can actually DO. His starting this type of business is like a blind person's announcing his intention of becoming a commercial airline pilot. Yah, planes can arguably "almost fly themselves" with the right circumstances, conditions, instrumentation and supporting staff. but you still have to be able to actually SEE to pilot one. If nothing else but to be able to tell the cockpit from the rest room. Duh.
  22. Is this more of the blatant arrogance that has characterized the Bushistas? Or an attempt to cash in on notoriety? Perhaps a really, really bad joke? Ex-Fema Loser to Start Emergency Preparedness Consulting Company
  23. No I have moved on now, I thought I told you that? Set my sights a little higher. Just as unrealistic, but it's an escape and that's what it's all about,.
