After all of the offseason talk, this team still refuses to pound the ball on the first down.

This O-Line sucks. I cannot fathom why TD didnt do a damn thing to improve it in the offseason.

Lee Evans could win this game for us. Woodson will be all over Moulds like stank on a monkey, so I wouldnt expect much from him. We need production from Reed and Campbell as well going over the middle since the Raiders have a piss-poor LB crew. Evans is the key though, if he can burn the Raiders Nickel back Denard Walker and stretch the defense, our RBs will tear them apart all day. But we NEED that deep threat so they cant just stack the line all friggin day.

Pace is a FA anyways after this season. Why trade for his ass and then deal with a new contract in a few months? If we really want Pace, we sign him this offseason.

I agree, next week is going to be huge for this coaching staff. The last 3 years, when we suffered an embarassing loss like in the last 3 years, we saw NO change in the game plan the next week. The same mistakes, the same plays. Lets see if Mularkey can adjust and pull out a win.

Just figured I'd drop a little bit of hope in these dreary times...losing your first game apparently hasnt meant much the last 3 years. And I know for a fact that both Patriot and Buc fans went through the same doom and gloom that we are going through. This game has to be a uniter for this team and we can still accomplish great things this season.

Thats what is so bad about this loss and shows just how lacking this team is. We DOMINATED the entire game, but ended up losing. Good teams find ways to win, bad teams find ways to lose. Guess what we are?

Drew didnt do anything to lose the game, I give him that...but Losman strikes me as a guy who can just ignite an offense around him. His confidence and ability to make things happen will make this team a winner...too bad it wont happen until next year

I have zero confidence in this team at the moment. This team just cannot win in the clutch, so therefore no playoffs. We should have won this game, instead it was like a bullet to the head of this team's spirit. My only hope is that we have a turnaround like the Patriots had after their crushing opening loss last year that caused them to unite together. But I doubt it.
