Josh Allen - week TWO report card
Wayne Arnold replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I won't apologize for being a tough grader. My hope for Allen is that of a future Super Bowl champion and Hall of Famer. I'm going to grade him accordingly. He needs a killer instinct. He should want to destroy the bad teams like the Giants. I could see the Giants going 1-15 this season and they made it a game because the offense didn't show up after halftime until late in the 4th quarter. Brady will pick his opponent's heart out and eat it in front of his children. That's what I want that in my QB. Without it, we'll never see our Bills overtake the Patriots. -

C+ Weak 2nd half. Those giving him an A have to raise their expectations.- 68 replies

Shrmur says Allen could potentially be a starter?? Huh?

Shurmur had Allen as his QB #1 of the 2018 class. This is such a non-story. -
What Giants fans are saying about our Buffalo Bills
Wayne Arnold replied to Wayne Arnold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gasp! I would never...! -
I’m always interested in seeing the other perspective of the upcoming matchup. Here’s what some Giants fans are saying... Our offense should be able to handle them and score some points The Giants proved last week against a better D than what the Bills have that they can move the ball and score. In addition to his two interceptions and two fumbles, Allen's accuracy was erratic. This is a game we have the talent to win. Buffalo is not the type of offense that is going to carve you up in the passing game, like a Dallas/KC/Philly/New Orleans type. This game will likely turn on how accurate Allen is on Sunday. I have no idea how to predict Allen's play. He's simply erratic. Eli already knows how Belichick beats them twice every year; he'll be ready to copy that. Giants don't need S.Shepard to win this game, AND it's a great chance for their 5th WR to shine (with Shepard and Tate out, I think that would be either R.Shepard or D.Slayton). Our lack of pressure may prove to be a good thing, for once, as up to now Josh Allen has been a much greater threat running with the ball than throwing it. And i am only half kidding. Barkley is going to have a career day on Sunday. IMHO Josh Allen looks lost! Thank god the Giants didn't take him! He was horrible on Sunday! Which is why the Jets loss is even more puzzling!!! I don’t think our defense is good but let’s not pretend like Josh Allen is good either. So far he's a below average QB that can run. I'm no Prescott fan, but he's certainly better than Allen, has a better OL than Allen, a better RB than Allen, and better targets than Allen. Allen had 4 turnovers. He got lucky the Jets Kicker missed an XP & FG. Jets, Bills, and Dolphins look to be picking top 10 this year.

Heeeeeee's coming baaaaaack! GRONK!!

People have been saying this for decades now. They have at least five years left of this crap. Brady doesn't take hits and he uses steroids. He can easily play into his 50's. Maybe even 60's. -
Jordan Poyer - underpaid? What would you offer?

I would offer trading my wife for his. -
Josh Allen - week one report card

C- Passing grade because they won and he scored both touchdowns after a nightmarish first half against a mediocre defense. But the kid has a looooooooooong way to go. -

Yeah, Tomlin's people management skills are off the chart. There's never constant drama surrounding the team. Are you serious? -

Steelers have one of the best front offices (personnel management) in football and an average-at-best head coach. Tomlin has had the good fortune of working with one of the best rosters in the NFL for over a decade. His style worked for a while but he should have been fired years ago. Tonight is the result of hanging onto a mediocre head coach for too long - a stale franchise. -

The bum kicked a FG from the 1 yard line down 20 points in the 2nd half. He should be handed a pink slip before the clock hits 0:00. -

I don't think we have to worry about the Steelers for the wild card. -

I hate NBC's NFL coverage. It's so horribly sanitary and bland. You can barely hear the crowd. I don't even think the crowd noise is real - it's dubbed so that the viewers can always hear the brilliant announcers. It ruins the experience. I miss the days when announcers had to scream to be heard over the crowd. It was more real. Better viewing experience. -

Either Lions defense quit or they had nothing left at the end. Either way - that's ***** coaching. Cardinals will lose to teams who aren't terrible. -
