Bills (1-0) at Jets (0-1) Postgame thread
Wayne Arnold replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they're taking it well... One of the most disgusting & painful losses I've ever experienced as a Jets fan. I’m done with the god forsaken ***** team. Goodbye. I'm thinking we start probably about 0-6 at best. SOFJ Feels like we've just lost a playoff game as in eliminated. I'm signing off yes can me a sore loser but I just can't do it right now Remember, Miami didn't even see Gase fit to oversee the dumpster fire they currently have burning down there. JeTs aRe A sLeEpEr TeAm When are we gonna admit Darnold isnt what we hope he is? I think most already know it. It's just hard to admit because it's the only thing we have to hang any hope on. I need to take a break before this garbage franchise drives me insane. See you in October. Probably 0-5 by then but w/e. Only silver lining is maybe things get so bad that they have no choice but to can Gase midseason. This season makes 44 years for me. So unfortunately I'm stuck with this loser team too. It's the curse of my lifetime. Never wanted this coach. Saw this 50 times in Miami, and knew he sucked. this team is awful, i forget each offseason and then the first game or two comes around and it just reminds me why it is that being a Jets fan is the worst - I genuinely wish I could switch allegiances to another franchise because this team will never win a SB, never achieve consistent success, its just one of those teams - but after nearly 40 years its too late for me - if you are new to the Jets then switch now, save yourself Bills d linemen are all 7 feet tall At least we're not Miami or Cleveland. -

This kid doesn't pass the durability prerequisite for an NFL career, unfortunately. Expect Captain to be signed this week. -

I'm excited about the win and everything but let me be the first to laugh at the Cleveland Browns. The hype machine was off the rails. People crowning them after a 8-8 season. Only to be blown out at home by the Titans. Good Lord, what an embarrassment.- 586 replies

Antonio Brown RELEASED, signed by PATS
Wayne Arnold replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who says he hates the Bills? Why would he care about the Bills at all? Maybe it wasn't his plan from the very beginning but it sure as hell was his plan over the last six weeks. That much is blatantly obvious. -
Ok - 90% I feel like Allen is the type of QB who is better when he gets a high quantity of throws. Gets him into a rhythm, decreases the hero ball tendencies as you say, etc.
-
I pray that Daboll at least starts the game by passing on 95% of plays instead of forcing Allen to throw against 3rd and long all day.

It could've been Brown's plan all along. Steelers refused to trade him to the Patriots so he wasn't getting there from Pittsburgh. Maybe Brown knew the Raiders were the only team dumb enough to send the Steelers a 3rd and a 5th in order to ultimately send Brown to the Pats. -

Very wishful... Antonio Brown w/ Raiders vs. Antonio Brown w/ Patriots -

My expectation for Allen this season is that he will be the single-most improved player in the NFL.

The stats speak loudly for themselves. To deny them at this point is silly. -

In the first 9 games of the season (Flacco starter), John Brown averaged 66.8 receiving yards per game (7.4 targets/game). For context, 66.8 rypg would have placed him 26th in the NFL. Not exactly huge, but worthy of a legit #1 receiver considering he was catching balls from a guy who was about to be benched. In the last 7 games (Jackson starter), Brown averaged 16.3 receiving yards per game (4.3 targets/game). The evidence clearly shows that the Ravens' 2018 quarterback change had a significant impact on John Brown. -

Here's a really cool piece about Smoke. Talks about the event that changed his life - when his brother was shot and eventually died from the wounds. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2802398-smoke-rising-how-john-brown-went-from-cardinals-bust-to-ravens-breakout-star -

Who's blaming Jackson? They went from attempting 42.1 pass attempts per game under Flacco... ...to 22.6 pass attempts per game under Jackson. That's a significant decrease in opportunities for a wide receiver.
