  1. No he’s not. They went 9-7 twice during the drought. In 2004 (legit) and 2014 thanks to Belichick benching Brady and his starters in the last game.
  2. You must not have been around the previous 17 seasons.
  3. I’m not normally a “no one wants to come to Buffalo” kind of guy. At all. But honest to God - how could you possibly expect the Pegulas to convince any promising football coach with any other options at all to come here after firing their second HC they hired in four years just one season after snapping an 18 year playoff drought? Not to mention everything else - horrible roster, non-football factors, etc. Seriously.
  4. Nope. 22nd in aggressiveness last season. With a bad offense - which is a huge factor whether you accept that or not. https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stat-analysis/2018/aggressiveness-index-2017 If McD were nearly as conservative as you say then he would be dead last in this category and he would have signed Tyrod to a 10 year contract extension because he’s a conservative coach’s wet dream.
  5. Wins are entertaining. To me, there’s nothing more frustrating than watching my team’s defense getting curb-stomped drive after drive. The Chiefs have the NFL’s 26th ranked defense (DVOA). If they had the worst defense in history, they wouldn’t be close to 8-1 right now. Same goes for Falcons in 2016.
  6. What difference does it make? Do people think this team would be good with a Top 10 offense and the worst defense in recent NFL history? If all of this were true, he would have kept Tyrod. Forever.
  7. The penalty yards came on two EJ Gaines pass intereference calls. Both bombs and very ticky-tacky. You should probably leave the evaluations to those who actually watched the game. As for the Bears - they will unquestionably be in the playoffs this year. Hence...contender.
  8. Youre right. I misheard him on my way home from the game. Thanks.
  9. 1. That’s what the refs told McDermott 2. Looked like it on the replay
  10. Strange. I saw an overmatched team with inferior offensive talent hanging with a contender up until a scoop-and-score and a fluke pick 6. I guess we all perceive the world differently.
  11. Peterman got hit in the head twice. Both no calls. I’ve never seen that not called in the NFL. And it happened twice. Snakebit.
  12. The ball was also tipped at the line. So the pass could have been 20 yards down the field and it still wouldn’t have been pass interference. We’re all missing the point though - which is that God obviously hates Nathan Peterman. The ball is tipped up in the air by Zay’s forearm...just high enough for a roaming defender with a free lane to the end zone to easily pluck it and run in for the Pick 6 untouched. As bad as Peterman may be, it is truly mind-boggling how snakebit he is.
  13. They are 2-7 with what has so far been the worst offense in history. Why would I be pleased?
  14. BREAKING NEWS: Team with Tom Brady at quarterback good at passing. Story at 11.
  15. TBD posters listening to McDermott interviews on the radio, moments before posting about it...
  16. Almost as if they had $55 million of dead cap or something...
  17. Oh yeah, what a God-send. I especially like how he bats his drops up in the air high enough for DB's to make the interceptions. Bum.
  18. Why wouldn't I come into my favorite thread? I love to laugh at the weaklings.
  19. My favorite threads here are the ones where posters cry over comments from press conferences.
  20. So in other words...Peterman is our #3 QB. Were you expecting Aaron Rodgers?
  21. Peterman averaged 6.1 yards per completion vs. the Bears. An NFL record low. People blame Peterman for that - but what does it say for the receivers he’s throwing to when there is no YAC whatsoever.
  22. Best post I’ve read in weeks. Go ?range
