  1. I tend to agree with this, although if he's delegated to backup status for next year, and he won't certainly be around the following year, it might be worth it to take something now as opposed to nothing later.
  2. I wouldn't be surprised, but I'd rather find out sooner than later. Let him play.
  3. Ben, Eli and even Rivers have all held their weight, I think it's time to see if the guy selected in the same round can do the same.
  4. I am not a fan of this GM's selection of talent. In fact, for every "good" pick you can attribute to TD--whether from the draft or free agency--I'll bet I can name at least one "bad" pick.
  5. HEY FELLAS, THEY'RE GONNA RUN IT!!! ...
  6. Lindel does suck. He is now officially overpaid, and I think we can all agree this was not a good move by TD.
  7. I agree, if we get in the playoffs it'll be due to the Rams. I just hope the Rams come out firing and get a lead early, cause I have no confidence in the Rams defense to stop Martin, or any other Jet for that matter.
  8. Horn was the village idiot before this, but apparently Brooks wants the job. Too many egos, I really hope Carolina wins.
  9. Ok, but I don't know if I'd expect him to say anything else.
  10. I agree with this entirely, but I hope TD's football smarts at LT are better than what we've seen at RT (i.e. Williams).
  11. Neither Seattle nor St. Louis have qualified for the playoffs yet, so actually, my statement is accurate.
  12. The Jets will self-destruct on their own. Ask her to throw some good karma on Bulger's shoulder so he can air it out to Holt.
  13. What makes you say this? As I understood it, Bills offered him a contract extension in preseason and he turned it down. I figure he's looking for relatively big money, which he's certainly not worth if he's constantly injured. Still, if they could get him for a good price, then I'd bring him back.
  14. Bills have been red hot, but must admit they haven't faced a playoff team since the Patriots on Nov. 14th (Seattle and the Rams not included because they suck). Bills are desparate for a win and you'd figure home crowd would mean something, but 9 points is way too much against the #1 rated defense IMO. I see a low scoring affair, something like 17-13 Bills.
  15. Those are some damn fine buddies. Do you fellas need another one in your crew?
  16. No offense to Udonkey, but I've had 3 Dell laptops over the last 5 years and all of them have been miserable.
  17. I'm in the same boat, and unless I hear something soon, I'm benching both Willis and Shaud......I can't risk getting a 0 in that spot.
  18. Even with Shuad starting and 2 TEs out, there's no reason we shouldn't handle the 49ers. Bills 28 49ers 13
  19. Volek had 60 pass attempts and almost won last week, but the defense surrendered 40 points to Collins--who I like more than Plummer. Home team getting points sounds better, no?
  20. I'm in the championship game and have been riding McGahee's back all the way, but now I've got to deal with a "game time decision" report from MM after McGahee practiced for the first time this week. I've picked up Shaud, but I'll have nightmares for weeks if I start him only to find McGahee plays.
  21. The education will surely serve you well in life, but practically speaking, unless you go to a top 20 school, or are in the top 10% of your class, it may be an economic nightmare. I've done fairly well, but I've got plenty of friends who owe $130k and are paying over $1200/month on a 30-year repayment plan. You do the math.
