Letterman's last show is tonight
Best Player Available replied to YoloinOhio's topic in Off the Wall Archives
If you want the hits, take your significant other to the brittney spears vegas show. it seems like something really made for your taste and expectations. Art is not something you grasp. Obviously. Too Bad. BTW is there a link that Letterman (or anyone really) was pissed that dylan didn't play "Like a rolling stone" Didn't think so. Blah Blah Blah IMO -

I agree! just like George Clooney pimped his new flick with Letterman just two shows earlier, and again last night on Kimmel, ditto Roberts and others last week. The guy didn't die he is just taking his 150+ million he made from people he interviews, selling their movies, music, etc. and going fishing. he did quit! he is healthy. Where's the poor taste? -

dylan recently released a album of Sinatra tunes, in fact volume 2 will come out soon. Dylan took this on as a challenge since he paints way more than he writes these days. as anyone who followed him he could care less what people think. he never did. he Wasn't being disrespecful to Letterman. he is who he is. Slightly strange. The reasons for that are well documented. The tune on letterman last night is the only frank tune he does currently on tour. It is his final encore tune. he did the recordings because he thought it would be interesting to interpret frank's music which was usually done with a big up to 50 piece orchestra. With sparce accompaniment The album is mainly a pedal steel, stand up bass, drums, piano, and vocals. he picked the tunes for these albums since in his opinion they are a bit bluesy and apparently originally recorded when Frank & Ann Margret hit the rocks. He admits he doubts Frank would like them. he looks, like,a fish out of water without a guitar. he has not played one in well over 12 years because of arthritis. he has become pretty good on the piano now and plays a baby grand on the road. -
This gives small kraft warnings a whole new meaning!

Ronald Darby signs rookie contract

To me his weak smile is saying "Dam this new CBA pays chump change compared to the old one". -
While that may hold some weight. A couple of the talking heads have also implied Krafts laughable gesture of throwing in the towel ( if you saw it) was an admission of guilt. let's face it there is nothing more he would have loved than rub Godell's face in the mud. he couldn't! his counsel more than likely told him to bail out and take the penalties. They simply like Brady* won't prove their innocence. IMO the cell phone holds the answers. And Brady* won't give that up since it cannot be wiped clean. his comments that it has been four months in the NFL news cycle, ring kind of hollow since kraft himself kept it there. Honestly,For a smart man ( supposedly) he looked like a moron at that podium today. he was there only because of his massive ego Since NO,one gave a ****. other than the drooling media which he ignored. A true stain on his team to add to his collection of them. I never thought I could despise any owner more than Jerrah. But,Kraft and his entire franchise now wear the crown.

should have been superbowl 1. so this would do.

Greg Roman presser: addresses QB rumors
Best Player Available replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So what is the takeaway from Roman's comments in terms of coach speak? That EJ will be cut or traded in camp? -
It has concluded. Kraft's very weak argument translated to English: Meeting with my attorney's it has become obvious that myself keeping this in the news cycle is not good. We have also have found that we did cheat, and have no recourse but to accept our punishment.

The press speculates on EJ's future
Best Player Available replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am no fan of maroon. obviously. but like all HC's he was under pressure to win. I do not remember a lot of tears shed pulling EJ after the Houston game. i would have pulled him the year before after the Bucs game. The Worst Bills game in years. the whole team sucked but EJ really sucked. he is/was a draft project, and a big reach. No one ever argued that. At least that's the way I remember it. if not for a slip on the mat I don't think he would have seen the field as a rookie. Well, until the man of glass would have got injured eventually...... i wish EJ luck with his next team. whenever that day arrives. maybe Kelly can salvage him, or at least make him look good like Sanchez did for a few games. he is a great kid I wonder what his stock price is trending at? -

It's downtown forget the street you can probably google them. Lots of unique seafood dishes and definitely not the typical friday nite fist fry ( not there's anything wrong with them) They got beef on weck sushi or whatever they call it there. try them once and you are hooked. Nice place to take the wife. -

You can tell this sure as hell isn't Eddie D's team anymore. The York's, their kid, well they all suck. IMO that is the problem. -
For what he's paid I'll let them kick me in the nuts.

He is a paid mercenary. One year deals say something. I didn't like him when he was a slave for the pats** for 4 years. i suspect that will be the case this year. he must have liked his DC in Buffalo a lot. Doubtful the moron did much for him. But since it's a one year deal maybe he will keep his mouth shut. he is on a one year audition again. Who knows what Rex will need next year.
