  1. Because you'd expect a professional to be a little bit more professional with what he says and how he says it. See any Bills player on the current roster whos met with the media. That's the type of ***** you say to your agent, not the public.
  2. Whats good for a laugh is Barkley has only 7 starts in the NFL and has comparable numbers to Allen who has 28. We know what Barkley is....a back up. We know what Josh doesn't look like, a franchise Qb. Do the math.
  3. I agree with your assessment of Allen, but the Barkley criticism is kind of unwarranted for quite a few reasons. Mariota is a joke imo, and isn't even worthy of a backup position. He will flame out of the league in the next 2-3 years. Qb in free agency is one of the last needs of this team. My top pick in FA is either LB, Wr, or DE. There are a few top ones at each postion and id happy with any one of them being filled with someone who fits the current culture of the team. Id leave that decision up to Beane and McD because they havea finger on the pulse of the team and will bring in the proper fit.
  4. They have to legally, otherwise the money needs to be returned to the donors or the organizers faces felony fraud and theft by deception charges.
  5. I'd hope for Judon as well, he's a beast and all over the field. I'd also take Bud Dupree from Pittsburgh. He'd be a solid addition who's improved year to year and has shown great ability to rush the passer as well as stuffing the run.
  6. So he jumps to a team with a star Qb in the making and one of the best Rbs in the league and that proves it was him an not Brady? ? Last time I checked it wasn't Belichick throwing passes all over the field. Without Brady Belichick is going to be exposed.
  7. Honestly, I have no idea what's going to happen. We have glaring needs at WR, DE, RB, LB, CB, OL. There are studs available at nearly every one of those positions in FA. For the most part, young studs in their prime. Id be happy filling any of those needs with the first pick.
  8. Yea thats unbelievable. I threw my beer can after that.
  9. I guess drinking beer through a straw would become the new norm in that scenario. And I believe that old woman was watching a porno in that clip...lmao
  10. Just received an alert for tech news from the CES happening now in Las Vegas. The implications of Sony's accomplishments make the sky the limit in terms of NFL broadcasting and the future of real time analytics. Sony has successfully broadcast NFL games wirelessly from cameras on a 5g network as well as successfully created advanced AI software to analyze in real time many different factors of sports performance. My guess is these things are sure to be injected more and more into the broadcasting of NFL games. Question.... Would you subscribe to an NFL package that would allow you to see the game in VR from the perspective of your favorite player in first person? A game winning drive in high definition virtual reality through the eyes of the Qb? A game winning Int through the eyes of a CB? A game breaking run from a running back? These things seem to be getting closer and closer to reality. I for one welcome it and would absolutely subscribe to such a service. It would fundamentally change the way fans would interact with their favorite teams and players. The future is wonderful. Thoughts? 11. did they make the playoffs with that 11-5 record?
  12. Guy, relax. You aren't looking at the big picture. This team is perfectly positioned with cap money, a few good drafts under their belt and another off-season to build a long term winner. Every coach makes questionable decisions and McD is no different. But.... There is no question what he and Beane have done in 3 years is nothing short of a miracle. They are now in perfect position to bring in quality players through free agency. This is no longer a team that isnt going anywhere and requires us to pay exuberant amounts of money to land players who are only here for the money. The culture has shifted, talent is being acquired and homegrown, and this team is finally on its way to being a consistent contender.
  13. Id say an overall increase of around 10 to 12% from last year. For me that equates to a letter grade jump of one letter. Last year I would have him ranked as a D this year he's improved to C-.
  14. Im wondering the same thing.
  15. Duke made some great plays, but the Duke also dropped some clutch catches.
  16. 1-15 without Brady? Guess that wouldn't say much for the "greatest coach of all time."
  17. This kind of crap really pisses me off. I like Poyer but stupid media posts like that do nothing but cause problems. His current contract is just that, a contract. It isn't to expire for another year. Totally inappropriate to post that BS. Newsflash lady, this is the NFL, everyone works hard. When the time comes if Buffalo doesn't pay him someone will.
  18. Umm, i don't think that article means what you guys think it means.
  19. I remain completely confident in the coaching staff and front office. That doesn't mean I always agree with their decisions, but I do agree with their philosophy, foresight, and dedication to the process.
  20. No crusade. I was completely impressed with Allen in the first half. It was the greatest 30 min performance of his career....and the loss wasn't soley his fault, but he melted down.
  21. The Bills’ painful playoff exit put a spotlight on the team’s problems, beginning with Josh Allen. What will it take to fix his flaws? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.theringer.com/platform/amp/nfl/2020/1/4/21050139/exit-interview-buffalo-bills-josh-allen
  22. Great article, an oldie but a goodie. What is a franchise Qb, and how do we define it? What measurements are used and how do we quantify them? How well does Allen stack up? https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/1713557-how-to-define-a-franchise-qb-in-todays-nfl.amp.html
  23. We had 172 yards rushing and averaged 5.7 yards a carry. No, it's not outrageous to think Singletary who was averaging 4.7 yards a carry, could pick up yards on the inside. (he did so multiple times with shifty moves) Gore averaged just under 3 yards per carry at 2.7. Not outrageous to hand him the ball either. The thought process was simple, they didn't want negative plays or long distance 3rd downs. If you get little to nothing on 1st, then allow Allen the chance to throw on 2nd and not get anything, you've just created a 3rd and long. Some coaching decisions were insane....like the 4 and 20 something...I was pulling my hair out, but...this "conservative" approach is nothing more than not having real confidence in Josh Allen. Josh melted down in the second half and IMO, they called plays accordingly to shield him.
