  1. My eyes have seen a good deal of progress by Edwards coming into the season, but yesterday he sure looked like the guy who started in 2002 who couldn't do anything to stop the run. In fact, he and Sam both played rather poorly I thought. I'm sure the heat didn't help much either.
  2. If you sifted through the cliches yesterday he still had a lot of accurate things to say X's and O's wise regarding the game. He still bashes the management no matter what and that gets annoying, but he had more interesting things to say than anything I heard on the other talk shows still.
  3. No changing my opinions from that post. I still think Willis is extremely poor at blitz pickup and it showed again yesterday
  4. Roscoe will certainly help stretch the defense out a bit, but for today in this game atleast, the #3 WR spot was just about the least of our worries. Reed , along with Teague in my estimation were the only 2 that showed up on offense today.
  5. Simon , I saw it the same way as you. I was disturbed that they didn't test the middle in the passing game and just kept going with Outs and Hitches on the right side. There was little if any commitment to running the ball and you were observant to point out the lack of off tackle running. Much of the running came on delays and draws out of spread formations, which to me doesn't work very well vs. the Tampa Cover 2. The Bucs really didn't crowd the line nearly as much as I would have thought either.
  6. would that qualify as a "Brady's long ball" ?
  7. I'm guessing '92. Anyone?
  8. Actually if I'm think of the right play that was Vincent helping McGee , not Nate.
  9. Thankyou man.
  10. SDS, did you get my PM a couple days ago?
  11. Marks at the Palmyra store location is very, very good. Some of their other stores vary in quality.
  12. I could be wrong, but I don't think he was saying that Carson was the superior player
  13. Honestly, the way some of you are comparing Flectch and Spikes is interesting but simply does not jive. You can't statistically compare a WLB to a MLB in a 4-3. There is just no measure that would do it justice. All we are left with is personal preference or (like I tried to do) a comparison based on speculation if their roles were switched. There is a lot of good analysis here anyhow and it's a good sign that 2 of our linebackers are this good.
  14. In the case of Fletch vs. Spikes, I'm pretty confident that if their roles were switched Spikes would do all the things Fletch does but Fletch couldn't do all the things that Spikes does at WLB. He is more athletic, just as fast, stronger, has better hands, as good of a tackler, and a harder hitter than Fletch. With this being said, I've always felt that Fletcher was the most under-rated player on the Bills D. He is a model of consistency and has great feel for his position. He is a pro-bowl type player even though he hasn't made it there as a Bill.
  15. Thanks for the breakdown Lori.
  16. You said muffs
  17. I would have thought that was already assumed in all of this by most people, no?
  18. if you mean this buffalo bob http://www.indianranch.com/photos/wof/web_...Buffalo_Bob.jpg he may have resembled him.
  19. I don't enjoy that very much either. There was some tall , long haired dude doing it the other day
  20. Welcome back Campy! Good to see you at the game (and bang on the back of seats with you )
  21. You should have seen him on Rashard Lee's (remember him?) big kickoff return in the pre-season. He knocked one guy into another and brought them both crumbling to the ground to open a huge lane for Lee to run through.
  22. I must continually remind myself that the stadium no longer holds 80,000 +. That seems to have made a little difference too.
  23. I meant to I was blinded by the Jerk Chicken though...
  24. Don't feel bad. I think I'm chopped Suey.
  25. So you disagree that I liked and miss PW? Or that Edwards is doing well as his replacement? Or that it has the potential of freeing up money to be spent elsewhere? 'cause I agree basically with what you were saying here.
