  1. He's listed at 190. I think he's probably more after 2 off seasons. So maybe a little light for heavy lifting but I just would like to see him used close to as much and similarly as Ekler, CMC, Kamara etc. Those 3 range from 200-215 pds. Get him in open space and huge gains are possible. Pollard is a solid comparison
  2. only 13 carries for 56 about 4.3 ypc but he had some huge 1st downs, broke tackles and looked explosive. Take away that terrible call where he had no chance and got a 7 yard loss, that's 12 carries for 63 yards , healthy 5.2 ypc Then on his receptions, again super explosive and great hands. 3 for 43 yards 1td on 3 targets Point being, he has to get more than 16 touches. He's showing He's a legit 3 down back with HR potential, he's physical and explosive, would love to see him get several targets per game and get 25 touches per. Only issue is pass blocking, where he's mediocre He can be a major key to the O if he's used more and used correctly, he can put up huge #s. Use him as a legit #1 RB
  3. Vegas still has Buf as 4th favorite to win sb and ppl talking no playoffs
  4. First time I'm actually happy It's a TNF game, so we can hopefully get back on track. But if we lose, it's going to be a brutal week n a half Super impressive
  5. Exactly and both were playing phenomenal
  6. That's to be expected when you lose a 1st team all pro playing at that same level. i knew that injury would hurt us bad
  7. technically half a game back
  8. I thought he got injured. Dodson looked like crap
  9. I think it's moreso the Jets D but could be right about coaching. They made Allen and Mahomes look bad and Hurts without their top 2 cbs
  10. They're going through a rough patch, happens to every team every year. Still 4-3. Oliver n Williams injuries killed us on D but the O is concerning but now they'll be forced to hopefully make the correct changes needed. I expect them to beat up on TB in a short week of intense practice. We get to 5-3 , get a mini bye and look impressive, this whole board will change its tune. Perfect time for a TNF game so we can hopefully get this bad taste out our mouth quickly. A bad performance though and I will be in panic mode
  11. Hopefully starting next week they rurn it around. I'm very concerned but not in panic mode yet but will be if the they look anemic again
  12. I said all day this team looked strange, I personally think it's something internally The D was unrecognizable and the O has no identity or rhythm anymore. This is as bad I felt about a L in a while, I'm also very optimistic and I'm also losing hope. Especially after last week where the O looked the same. It's concerning but I still have faith they can turn it around.
  13. I think no Big Ed and obviously Jones was huge. Ed has been a terror, getting pressure in the middle which turns into the ends getting sacks. Also Dodson killed us. Was a noticeable difference without Dorian, I have no clue what happened to him but we need him. Kid is legit, no Milano but he's good Also, Josh was throwing high or low on many passes, some were caught but the throw prevented any yac.
  14. Agreed. I thought of the 21 season today. Glad it's happening now and we can hopefully find a solution vs later in the year.
  15. I also believe DCs now don't have to game plan as much for his rushing threat. Belicheck saw through 6 games that 17 isn't taking off as he usually does. Having to spy the qb is a huge plus for any offense but also takes alot of game planning for during the week. They've been trying for a cpl years but this TC I feel they were infatuated with the 2 TE set and being able to create mismatches depending on if the D plays run or pass but it just hasn't worked. Wanting him to be Brady esque. Also feel like this would prevent Josh from playing wreckless. Which They is when he's best. They have no identity anymore. Agreed. He's an amazing qb and doesn't need to use his legs when the O has rhythm and humming like that game but when the O isn't, having him use his legs should be encouraged , whether designed or just telling him to take off immediately if you have the opportunity. Either let the d spy and open up the pass or keep running until they have no choice but to spy
  16. Exactly. agree 100% Well said My only hope is they realize this and hopefully revert his mindset back to the "backyard football " style, where his running threat put Ds on skates and made them defend every inch of the field
  17. I agree. I mean moreso when Josh wouldn't wait a second, he'd see open field and instantly take off. Barely seen that this year which is concerning. There was at least 4 negative plays where he would've gotten good yardage if he bolted today. Instead he waits for play to develop and has bad results. I pray the staff can get that Josh mindset back, O desperately needs it
  18. Agreed with both of you. Been screaming for Josh to take underneath stuff for years but also he needs to start running again. He'd take off instantly in the past if a lane was there and vs NE he had multiple opportunities for easy yards rushing and holds the ball usually resulting in a negative play. It's very discouraging to watch
  19. I feel psychologically he refuses to take the easy yards on the ground. I'm seeing open lanes for big chunks of yards watching live. He used to spot a lane and take off all day, now he refuses and usually results in a negative play. 7.8 attempts per gm last year. 4.1 this year, mostly QB sneaks. He isn't a traditional QB. I get it Why they took away such a huge piece of his game but It's clearly not working. I believe we win today if he took off on a few plays like he used to. Would've extended drives and made the d spy all day
  20. I'm telling you , it's killing us, especially in or around the RZ but really the whole field. So many times in the past he bailed out the O with a massive run, moving the chains or getting a TD and this staff seemingly took that aspect away from his game. It's disappointing to say the least
  21. Never thought I'd be saying this but it hit me tonight going through twitter and looking back the last few games and realizing how many times I've shouted at the TV for Josh to run.. The coaches and Beane, for a cpl years now, have openly talked about limiting Josh on the ground and most agreed but we're taking 1 of his biggest assets as a QB away. Teams don't need to spy as much, there has been so many plays this year where I'm screaming for him to run, never have I in his career prior to this year. Today again, there was 4 -5 plays and multiple in previous games where he would've gotten positive yardage, possibly big gains but he holds the ball and majority of the plays end up incomplete, sack or int. I sorely miss the Josh Allen that'd see a lane and would instantly take off every time. This not only helps our O but puts the D on skates and opens up passing lanes. Why is this happening? Has it been coached out of him? I can't believe I'm saying this even but it's killing us on O. We have no identity on O. Let 17 LOOSE FFS, he looks like he's not even entertaining taking off when there's a big lane and in the past would result in a big play Hecaveraged 7.8 rushes per game last year. This year he has 29 in 7 games, about 4.1 per game and most are qb sneaks. It's definitely hurting the o
  22. They might play up ot down to theor opponents
  23. The O looked flat for 3rd atraight game. Just flat all around. They gotta get their leadership in check internally
  24. Top 3 or better QB of his generation good
