I agree, and it'd really make our run game dynamic and a challenge for defenses. I'd throw away age with Shady. He apparently works out as hard as anybody and the main thing is he doesn't take shots like the average RB. Very very rarely does he take a big shot because of his running style, I think he has 2 elite years left, he showed zero signs of slowing down to me and adding a legit complement can preserve Shady and make the defense worry about 2 completely different running styles. Shady runs so unique, it can throw a defense off n will help Shady's production as well

I'd LOVE that move. I think it would have such a positive impact on the whole offense. I even made a thread about it. It'd be very important I'm and gets overlooked imo.

Yes he would. Get Smith/Cousins. Draft stud RB and RG (can get great value on guards in later rounds) , move Glenn to RT, get a WR or 2 in FA and our O is good $. You got a bunch of draft capital and FA to turn the D into an elite unit, they're on their way

That's probably true. Ben definitely has an impact on AB's numbers but he'd still do damage in Buffalo, he's just that good, Better than Jones,Green,Hopkins etc. He'd make it much easier on an OC to dial up big plays

Ben has a ton of star power as well. Best WR in the game. Top 3 RB . Always seems to have a competent D. Kelly is overlooked but he got Wins and that's the only stat I truly care about for a QB.

I'm in same boat. Was outspoken about my support and wanting him next year but I was wrong. An upgrade at QB is a must. This team can go on a run with one.

You'd probably be right but the era Jim played in was a different world. Totally different game back then, and he was the most successful QB of the early 90s . It's very debatable when you look into it.

Dareus looking good out there. They're going to be a great defense for a while. But slot of $$ invested in DL. Wow what a throw n catch!

Jax added Bouye, Campbell through FA and got a great RB in Fournette. They are 2 quarters away from the title game with Blake the Flake Bortles. I'd love Buf to go after a stud RB and get a big name or 2 on D in FA. Again,this helps the run and pass game, could get an extra elite year out of Shady by having him share the load, and you bring in a great back, preferably a big downhill type, it makes it so hard on a D when Shady comes in to adjust to his unique running style. I feel it's a higher priority than we think

Either way I'm content with it. It helps out our future in many ways, bad investment from the start.

That game was a dog fight. Very physical. Since seeing the allegation, I thought it might have just been a bitter Jaguar player trying to get under his skin , or in this case , ruining his career. I don't think the allegations stick, no proof, not one other player Said they heard him say anything. It's not what you know, it's what you can prove

Yes that's definitely a huge part of success. Jax is showing their are other ways to do it,great D and run game but the OC / QB combo is at the top of list

I'm appreciating our defensive performance even more. We held Fournette to 57 yards,on the road. Made Bortles life hell. He doesn't scramble on us and we might win 3-0 lol. Just shouting out our up n coming D, McD seems to have a great grasp on that defense and came up with some fantastic gameplans. (@ Jax,@Atl,@Mia,@Kc etc). I'm going to love watching that group with more talent up front, should be dominant

I'm a little mad watching. We had them on the ropes all day, on the road man. Defense played spectacular , the O moved the ball at times but never could take the next step. We're going to improve alot this off-season, I see us making a huge jump in talent, so we'll be back sooner than later imo

True but it is an argument to be made. Also , our defense looks much better than Pitt. Our D is going to be a helluva group for quite some time imo. McD has taught that group wonderfully, we're definitely on the up n up , we'll be back next year with a legit shot at a run.
