I personally wanted him on the field week 4 , would have loved to see this secondary against AB, Gordon & Edelman. Would have loved to hear the Buffalo crowd welcome Mr Brown to Western New York and would have Loved to see Poyer potentially take his head off! Anyway , they're obviously still a Huge challenge , which kinda boggled my mind at the time as to why they're picking AB up.. Why pick up this Distraction, who seems to be a legit Headcase! They knew the media coverage and presence would be insane , they knew the drama would be insane. I bet when they saw the lawsuit they were Happy because now they could activate that part of the contract and not be on the hook for any big $.... F the Pats. F. AB. We're the big dogs in the East now.

ByJoshua Allen has 13 starts in the NFL now . His first few starts he was surrounded by an Overall brutal offense for 11 of those starts, showing glimpses of greatness mixed with glimpses of terrible QB play. I've been sold on him since last year but by the end of this off season and Training Camp there were no doubts left in me , I knew the Buffalo Bills finally had our Franchise QB!! He handles himself like a Franchise QB , most importantly it's the respect and confidence his teammates , coaches and organization truly have in him. He earned that C on his jersey , and is going to work tirelessly to reach the sky high potential he posseses and seems to also posess the winning and clutch genes. Qualities you can't teach or coach up Win - Loss Record Baker - 7 - 8 Darnold - 4 - 10 Allen - 7 - 6 Jackson 8-2 (including playoffs) The craziest part is that he could realistically be 10 - 3 right now. I consider the Texans game a No Contest. It's fair to say he would have had a legit opportunity to win that game. We all remember the Clay drop in Miami and the defense surprisingly letting Darnold march down the field in New Era , right after Allen lead the offense down the field with minutes left in the game. The kid can flat out play and win consistently. We added multiple new toys for Allen this year but the big two additions were Smokey Brown and Cole Beasley. Let's check in on how that's going, shall we? Brown/Beasley combined #s Week 1- 12/19 163 yards 1 TD Week 2- 11/12 155 yards ??? Making Allen 23/31 (74% completion pct) 318 yards and 1 TD after Two ROAD games when targeting these 2! Just super impressive through the first 2 games for Allen to have such a strong rapport with his new FA targets. Another stat that caught my eye was the fact that Allen threw 30 or more times in both games this season and winning bboth games! Last year the Bills were 0-9 when throwing 30+ times in a game, with Allen going 0-6 and looking dreadful in the process. All of this info tells me a couple of things - Josh Allen and this Offense has made some clear improvements in their game. They just did something in back to back ROAD games (throw 30+ times & get the W!) that they were unable to accomplish in 9 attempts last year... Bottom Line - the pass game is drastically improved. Then there's the run game , a run game that was nearly non existent before Allen went crazy with his legs down the stretch. Our top 2 running backs ran for 899 yards on 276 carries , for a whopping 3.25 ypc! In the first 2 games of 2019, again , ON THE ROAD ,Gore & Motor have a combined 215 yards on 40 carries , for an amazing turnaround of 5.37 ypc. Bottom Line - It's early but what the O has done on the broad has been super impressive and if this can maintain , with that D and Hausch $$ kicking , the sky is truly the limit for this team.

Can't Lie. I'd love to have him in the RB rotation , but I'd have him as a 1 year rental , see how it works out and if he's a long term fit. Obviously the compensation has to be reasonable. Could see Beane throwing a 3rd like he did with KB. Would be a nice piece for a team that has a legit shot at a deep playoff run

He has 4 int in the 4th qtr so far in 2019. They just heavily focus on the good with him and basically ignore the bad. Where as with Allen and even to a lesser extent Darnold , they heavily focus on their faults, kinda brush their positives to the side

I think they're slowly working Motor in the lineup .. It also creates confusion for defenders , Gore hits that hole as hard as possible! His TD run was awesome! Motor is a smaller guy who relies more on vision and patience. He has super quick cutback ability and great hands. It's a tough adjustment for a defense dealing with both of them

So we're on the road for the 2nd straight vweek , 1 - 0 and optimism is high ! Bills win coin toss , elect to defer. Okay great , lets see this elite defense be dominant! Approximately 2 minutes and 17 seconds later , Saquon Barkley is in the end zone after a sensational run , and single handedly marching the Gmen down the field , making it look too EASY. SO Our O comes out and goes 3 & Out ! Oh No ! Man , I've seen this movie before , several times and it never ends well?? "This ******* team fooled me again." "Allen Stinks!" " Hey Sean , Stop ******* Clapping!!!" "Our top 10 draft pick really made a difference, Still can't stop the Run!" "This is going to be like Bell and Jay Ajayi all over again , we're just not there yet." "Allen Stinks" "So Billsy" At 30 years old , a Bills fan since 1996 and about 13 years of watching nearly every game, today was the first time in my life that none of those emotions came up after that type of start! I didn't realize it until we tied the game. The amazing part was that my confidence in the Bills winning never faltered , even though we were on the road , down 7 , looked Awful on defense so far and just went 3 & out! I said this all off season - something special is brewing in Buffalo. Even after the early adversity , I just knew we were the more talented , disciplined and better coached team and I think I'll be feeling that way ALOT this year! The 2019 Buffalo Bills are legit contenders in the AFC fellas...2019 is the start of a new , winning era for the Bills. Exciting Times!!

We got talent EVERYWHERE. Love Hyde , phenomenal play!! Not only talent but disciplined , composed and Team players.

Exactly. Jets have heavily invested in their DL , Giants got rid of their top DL (Vernon ). It's their home opener though , anything is possible. Just find it hard to believe they'll score more than 13 with no Shepard to. We can key in on Barkley/Engram all day.

They're in for a rude awakening. I don't see how they score over 10 points. Clearly didn't watch our offense , just looked at box score

Good post OP. I actually disagree with the Jets. I think they'll be contending in December , can see them getting 9 wins or so , I really like them Monday vs the overrated Brownies, to get back on track . I just think we beat a solid team in their backyard

I honestly don't blame a H.O.F player still in his prime , coming to a dysfunctional franchise at the time. All this stuff just makes me appreciate the Pegulas , Beane and McDermott. I think we struck gold with these men. I'm getting early 90s vibes from this team and where it's headed, even though I was an infant back then. Love the 2019 Bills Bills forever regardless

I'm not so sure. Belicheck definitely is fully aware of what has been built over 3 years. I actually agree with OP. I think we are the most complete and deep team in the game , at least in the AFC , besides NE. You can go to any other AFC teams and find several glaring holes , you don't see this with this rosters talent and the culture that has been built.

Yea DT is a shell of his former self. Was an elite WR for quite some time though.

I think he def has the talent. We got Gaines to give insight on his mental makeup, but if he's a locker room guy I can def see us bringing him in.
