  1. Good one. If only they would use that in a movie...
  2. Only time will tell if he's really turning the corner and will be the guy the envisioned when they traded back into the first round to get him, or if he's the next Darick Holmes, who led the NFL in rushing in the preseason. Personally, I'm betting on it being more the former than the latter.
  3. If I were a Redskins fan, I'd be worried about it, too...........after next week.
  4. Whichever quack doctor the attorney will send you to will say you can't go to work. When I had my accident, the attorney I hired sent me to a quack that said I was to stay home "indefinitely". All I had was some soreness in my knee (not a whole lot) and my neck (even less). I stayed out for maybe a few days to a week, but there was no way I was going to stay out longer.
  5. Put it this way, Johnathan: it appears you were "more hurt" than I was when I had my accident back in 2000, and I got about $5,500.00 as a personal injury settlement. I also got about $12,500.00 in property damage (what they said the car was worth @ the time), which covered all but $2,500.00 of what I owed on the vehicle. Go see an attorney who has a clue.
  6. How anyone can be classified as an "expert" on fantasy football is beyond me.
  7. I thought Oakland signed him.
  8. Really. I liked his work in Born on the Fourth of July, Magnolia, Rain Man, The Color of Money, and a few others, but he's really gone off the deep end in recent years.
  9. And to celebrate not having to deal w/ him, I've got a great suggestion: why not start a thread about him? 'Scuse me while I look for the threads bashing the others who have left TBD...
  10. Well, you could've gone to work...
  11. Are they made by the same company that made Rotten Tomatoes?
  12. From what I've seen of both guys this preseason, Roethlisberger and Palmer look okay. Time will tell, of course, but they're looking alright so far.
  13. Good thing there wasn't CNN around when Silver was in his heyday.
  14. They key will be to neutralize Jason Taylor. If we can find a way to do that, or even slow him down to where he's not nearly as effective, we have a shot. Their secondary isn't that great, and their LBs, save Channing Crowder, aren't much better.
  15. Who's Mike and mike?
  16. 25 Days And Counting!!! Hopefully, the time will fly by from now 'til then. We've got a long weekend coming up (Mommy's coming to visit!), then a short work week, then just 5 more work days for me until my week and a half vacation begins!!
  17. I don't hate. Hey, if I were a fan of "that school", life would be pretty good now. Things are definitely on the upswing for their program. As a Penn State fan who doesn't particularly like "that school", I must admit being a bit envious. I just hope that PSU can recover from their losses (especially in the secondary) to give them a good game this year. I planned on being there, but the ticket prices were just ridiculous. I'll catch 'em next year @ Beaver Stadium, where the prices can get a bit high, but not stratospheric.
  18. Why would Kevin Colbert even GARA about Mularkey? W/ the future of their coach up in the air, and w/ the pressures of trying to repeat, I think they have bigger fish to fry now.
  19. I tune in from time to time, but I just can't listen when Jerry Rice is on. The guy's a horrible broadcaster. I'll be happy when Shannon Sharpe and Cris Carter return for their shows. They're funny, and informative. I was especially surprised to get that from Carter, who sucks on HBO's now unwatchable Inside the NFL.
  20. For me, Perkins is the tradition before going to ANY Bills home game.
  21. I don't even remember Walsh being a broadcaster. After hearing him over the years, I guess I'm thankful that I can't recall this.
  22. Humor him. We did.
  23. Good work, then. See, people? That's how you post w/ integrity around here.
  24. Nah. If we start to see posts about how much talent Travis Henry had and how William knew it all along, then I'd start to worry.
  25. Sirius alert: "Donte Whitner was a reach. What were the Bills thinking? Whine whine whine whine whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine...."
