  1. Happy birthday
  2. Well, it did give our buddy Adam Schein something else to rant about for a while. "Jeff George? Jeff George? Jeff George? Jeff George? Jeff George? (repeat ad nauseum)"
  3. Due to some serious technical difficulties, our draft got off to a later start (9:20pm) than we hoped for (7:30pm). Because of this, we completed just 15 of the 20 rounds. The last 5 rounds will be completed next Monday, September 4th, @ 7:30pm.
  4. Faustus Avenger BuffBills#1 Me That's who is in the chat room now. I PM'd a guy over on BillsZone (Shop Wreckers) to let him know we're back up now. Still waiting for you, Paul, and the 3 others.
  5. And awaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy we go!!!!!
  6. Good news! I'm in the site too. Stand by; maybe we'll be able to get this done tonight after all.
  7. How did you manage to get in, fellas? Or, were you still in from before? I knew I shouldn't have re-booted my computer...
  8. That does suck. Hopefully, then can get this straightened out soon so we can still draft tonight.
  9. How late can everyone go here? If the site is up and running by around 9pm, could you all still do the draft? I could.
  10. Well, I'm kinda on the site. I have the Fanball page up, but I still cannot access anything: Maybe it's on the way back?
  11. It would be tough w/out the lists, but doable.
  12. Everyone, This sucks, and I really wish we were 15 minutes into our draft, but there's nothing I can do about it right now. I'm prepared to stay online for a while, to see if we can draft tonight. If the site comes back up, I'm prepared to get this done. The draft should take not much longer than an hour, I'd say. So, if we can get into Fanball soon, I'll be ready to go. Also, there's been some concerns over whether the draft will "begin w/out us", leaving us all w/ players we don't want. It will NOT! The draft has to be activated by yours truly, so although the room is set up, nothing will happen until I start it. Absolut Power corrupts, absolutely. I see there's a few of us here tonight, so I can only hope you'll all brave it out w/ me in the hopes that we can draft tonight. Paul, I saw that you're going to be out of town after tonight, so I really hope we can get this done before you leave. If not, is there any time between now and the beginning of the regular season that will work for you? I'm flexible in terms of scheduling the draft, so I'll bow to the will of the league, so to speak. Anyway, whoever from our league is here and ready to draft, please post here and let me know. Thanks.
  13. Until I activate our draft, nothing will happen. I set up the draft room, but you don't set a time to begin. You just hit a "start draft" option when you're all ready to go. Don't worry.
  14. It must be. I just can't believe that I was able to access this site numerous times today, even from WORK, and now when it's time to draft, nothing. This sucks.
  15. I don't know what happened, but we're all getting that message, Anthony. I was on a couple of times earlier to re-set the draft order and to set the time limit, but now I can't even access the site. Damn!
  16. The draft begins in just over half an hour (it was moved to 7:30pm).
  17. Still looking for 2 interested players for this league ... Yahoo! ID#: 270130 Password: BALL4FSP06 Online Draft Date/Time: September 3rd (this Sunday) @ 5:00pm EST Come one, come all!
  18. Wasn't that Chuck Norris and not Willis?
  19. He was also playing out of position. He should be playing guard, where his weaknesses (like his quickness) will be limited and his strengths (like his pass blocking) will be increased. Now, that said, I saw Joseph get to the 2nd level fairly well in their first preseason game, so maybe he has been working on his game. I remember from the pre-draft stuff I read about how astute he is and how much he studies game film and is constantly working on his techinique. Sure would've been nice to see the Bills grab him after a trade down, but I digress.
  20. Sigh.... Stating opinions is never a bad thing. Everyone here does it. What bothers me is when people take it to the next level and act as if they know something for a fact that hasn't happened yet. You don't see it that way, and I respect that.
  21. It's possible, but you do have to consider that New England does spread the ball around as inkman stated. Watson does seem to be a better than average receiver for them, which I honestly can't say for the rest of them. Maybe Branch, but even he isn't as good as people think he is. Better than average, but not an upper echelon WR.
  22. Here's my point: there is no way we can know whether he will be a successful head coach in his next go 'round until he is given the opportunity. Anything else is just stating opinion as fact, which is, @ the end of the day, opinion only.
  23. Thomas been passed over for the Power Rangers, eh?
  24. I like it just the way it was. Born in the 60s (okay, REALLY LATE 60s) Childhood in the 70s (great time to be a kid!) Teenage years in the 80s (likewise) Wild and crazy 20s in the 90s (I can barely remember it) Broke down 30s in the 2000s Ahhh, what fun it's been.
