  1. Seymour. Like I said, they stunk up the joint w/out him last year. When he returned, they made a strong push for the AFC title that came up just short in Denver.
  2. And what's wrong w/ having a little cheese w/ your hot pocket?
  3. I dunno if he's the best in the game, but he's the most vital player on their team. Even more so than Brady. How'd the Pats to last year when Seymour was out.....and Brady was in?
  4. Well, if he wouldn't have been the lone shooter from the 6th floor of the school book depository...
  5. He's had the raw talent (good route running, good hands, speed) to become an elite receiver from day one. I'd just like to see him fight to get the tough yards and have better awareness in certain situations (run your routes PAST the first down marker).
  6. ......a home...... .......a brain...... .......da noive.....
  7. I agree. We shouldn't hold that fumble after being hit against the QB (*cough* Kerry *cough* Rhodes *cough*).
  8. They don't bring me that. Anymore.
  9. Don't worry. No matter what the pick is used on, there will be plenty to whine about. This team has more problems than one draft pick can fix.
  10. Step away from the computer, grab the shiny object in front of you, and join the group...
  11. Van Pelt was such a crappy free agent acquisition for.....
  12. It's full of thoughtless and rude dudes, kegger.
  13. Plates? Yes. I'll see you guys on Friday. On time. Happy belated birthday, Daniel.
  14. I hear ya on the lack of quality linemen, but I feel this is a talent issue, not necessarily a high draft pick position. We went the high draft pick route and wound up w/ Mike Williams for our offensive line. We've gone the cheap/low draft pick route in years past and ended up w/ a string of ineffective guys like Joe Panos, Kris Farris, Victor Allotey, and Mike Pussywillow. I'd rather see us evaluate talent better and end up w/ good offensive line prospects, be it a high draft pick or a low one.
  15. I honestly do not believe Gandy is "well enough". I sure would love to be proven wrong.
  16. Like Joseph said, it won't happen, more than likely. It would be a very tough sell, but I would go after Steinbach and see what happens. I'd also look @ the top 5 LTs in the draft and start to figure out which one we could get. In the meantime, like Nicholas said, I'd look to find the best combination to get through the rest of this season, but the upgrades would be made @ season's end.
  17. Live to eat, eat to live.
  18. Both lines were bad today, but I see where you're going w/ this. If I were the GM, I'd go after veteran help @ RG and look to draft a very good LT prospect. I'd also look to get a dependable pass rusher, whether they come from the draft or free agency.
  19. Nice points there. Schobel is a decent pass rusher, but still struggles against the run. The rest of the D line struggles to consistently provide a pass rush, which is why there are times an opposing QB has all day to pick which receiver they want to use to put the dagger into Bills fans' hearts. JP is not the problem entirely. He does make mistakes, but we should expect this from a guy w/out a ton of experience as a starter. These are the growing pains he should've had last year. Gandy is a decent backup. That's about it. He made an okay DE look like an All Pro yesterday. We need an upgrade there @ LT, as well as RG, since Villarrial is obviously on the decline.
  20. We're not that bad. We have a good punter.
  21. Line play, both of them, left a lot to be desired. Then again, where were we impressive yesterday? Bad game overall. Time to shake it off and pull off the upset this weekend. Is anyone going to be @ the game this week? I dunno. I haven't heard much talk about it.
  22. Happy birthday to Jay and to Kristy. See you on Friday, Jay? Kristy, see you some time in December hopefully, if yours and Kenneth's schedule permits.
  23. Congratulations, Nicholas. Welcome to the asylum, Benjamin.
