  1. Didn’t you just try to tell me AB isn’t a loser because he won a SB (that he didn’t actually win)? Seems you’re trying to define a parameter by holding up a Super Bowl win as a proof source, too. Being wrong about a player winning a SB can happen to anybody. Hypocrisy is another matter.
  2. All that makes a ton of good sense. Perhaps Eric Turner should just leave well enough alone then. Lest he draw unwanted attention.
  3. But I just read that Morse may miss the entire year!
  4. Yep. It was totally out of character for McBeane to target that loser.
  5. That all depends on what David Carr will bring and it ain’t gonna be anywhere NEAR what BIg Ben brought to AB in Pittsburgh. Just a matter of time before Brown gets frustrated, loses it, starts pointing fingers, complains, and quits on his teammates. Again. You’re welcome.
  6. You actually just realized that, huh? Right. As to my my definition of loser, it’s actually very broad and it includes low character, me first quitters like Antonio Brown. The problem isn’t whether my definition of loser is narrow, broad, or in between. The problem is Antonio Brown’s own propensity to satisfy it, regardless.
  7. The only SB he’s been to, in his rookie year btw, the Steelers lost. And he was hardly a factor to boot. Nicer try. Pathetic, but nicer none the less.
  8. Great. I’m looking forward to the offensive line belting out Broadway show tunes.
  9. Perfectly reasonable criteria. Seems simple enough for Eric Turner to do. I suspect, though, that he simply doesn’t have the necessary media credentials to satisfy that criteria.
  10. AB is a loser. It’s never worth having a me first, jealous, loser like that in the room. Losers like him don’t congratulate a teammate on winning the team MVP award simply because they play the same position. Losers like that can quit on you at any time. Like when you’re trying to make the playoffs, for instance, as he did last season. Looking forward to his meltdowns when he realizes David Carr isn’t Ben Roethlisberger. Hopefully he gets over his boo boo foot quickly so that harsh reality can begin to set in sooner.
  11. You’ll take a player who quit on his team when trying to win a playoff spot? A player who quit on his team because another receiver on his team was named team MVP? You and AB deserve each other. I was happy and relieved when that loser told his agent he didn’t want to play here.
  12. This is a great point. He defined the position. That criterium is common among many in the HOF. I hadn’t considered that aspect of his eligibility before. Thanks for pointing that out.
  13. I missed it. Do I owe you a royalty of some sort?
  14. Seems like a matter of credentials. Like i said, why doesn’t Erik Turner simply ask the Bills what he need to do to obtain press credentials. It’s a simple question.
  15. Context. What a concept!
  16. Per the bold, I don’t think you’re off base at all; there IS a difference. I submit though, that the Bills plays are broken down to a much finer level by the rest of the league as well as by others who can lend more context to what they’re seeing. I just don’t see protecting secrets, if you will, as having any bearing on the Bills decision making regarding their relationship with Eric Turner and Cover 1.
  17. Never the less, there are numerous analysts for numerous outlets breaking down concepts and the like in regular columns in numerous publications just like regular journalists do for their publications.
  18. I would have been on Beane’s case if he brought him in, regardless. After the stunt he pulled with his team last season, he’s the LAST player I’d want.
  19. Makes sense with Feliciano and Long being out. Won’t hurt to get him some reps inside.
  20. Manufactured drama for the Hard Knocks crew? I don’t doubt it.
  21. If Eric Turner really wants press credentials, perhaps he should ask the team what is required to obtain them. Then he can make up his mind if it’s still worth pursuing or not.
  22. I really like McKenzie as his insertion into the lineup last season paid immediate dividends as Daboll sought to get more quick twitch and speed in the lineup. I’m rooting for the kid. That said, if he’s cut, it will be for all the right reasons. And something tells me Andre Roberts is going to announce his arrival as a legit WR threat in this league.
  23. This talk of “falling into traps” believing this or that is interesting. Here’s another one: some have “fallen into the trap” of believing that building a team is a linear process when nothing is farther from the truth. And because building a football team is not a linear process, the floodgates of criticism are always gonna be open for those that think another part of the team should have been built at any particular moment instead. I goddamn guarantee that if the Bills had built the WR group earlier, then those currently upset by the delay in building a better WR corps, would be just as tweaked if other areas, like the OLine or Dline for example, were ignored.
  24. Seems to some that since they couldn’t trade for a top WR (although they tried to land AB), didn’t draft a WR in a crappy WR class, and couldn’t find an All Pro wideout in free agency that, once again, the Bills front office screwed the pooch and we are doomed to failure this season. All this razor sharp insight after only a week and a half of training camp, too. The group myopia makes it impossible to give McBeane ANY credit for other signings recognized league wide as very solid pickups.
