  1. It's been weathered nicely so far.
  2. I'm surprised at how much success UB is having on the ground. That experienced O line is no joke. Hopefully, that shows up in the 4th. Myers is seeing open receivers, too. If he can start connecting, Penn State will be in a battle.
  3. That's why he's such a good fit.
  4. I would have gone with "Florida P**kerWood" instead. Can't believe that word gets filtered.
  5. I'm shocked, SHOCKED I tell ya! There's a difference between being a fan boy and somebody who calls out hypocrisy for no other reason than to stretch to make a point in support of a tired, predetermined narrative.
  6. Absolutely. There is simply no other position to take on this. Can't believe how many pansy ass wimps we have that call themselves fans.
  7. Same situation, hypocrite.
  8. Well, maybe McD and Co. should try to do something about that for a change.
  9. That's about as effed up as it gets. Sicker than AB.
  10. That's just wrong, dude. Wrong. You need to make immediate amends to the football Gods. This is known. The sooner the better, but definitely before kickoff tomorrow.
  11. That's all well and good, but what does the league say?
  12. Genius move! Pure genius!
  13. Can you explain that slower to me, please? And use more caps. I love lots of caps.
  14. He handled that perfectly, imo. Loved the crack about the voice on the recorded phone call being Frank Caliendo instead of him. Loved how he emphasized the guys who are there, too.
  15. Some credit. Just not too much.
  16. Helluva play by the kid. Helluva play.
  17. Oh, I think I understand perfectly. Since the AB situation started to blow up this week, you’ve taken every opportunity, every one, to use it to show how idiotic Beane was to have even inquired about his availability in the first place. But if BB inquires, it’s just not idiotic at all. Same act. Two different judgments on that act. Hypocrisy. In support of a tiresome narrative, nothing more.
  18. The only thing obvious is the hypocrisy of a position that allows for two completely different judgments for the EXACT same action.
  19. Of course he’s made mistakes but people act as if his record of success makes him immune to them, somehow. But if he doesn’t get a whiff of criticism for making the exact mistake others made and get ripped for, it’s hypocritical.
  20. Apparently the Raiders inquired and Doss chose to stay in Jax. Too funny.
  21. So then Belichick would be smart to pursue AB while Beane and any other GM that did are stupid for doing the exact same thing? Got it.
  22. I don’t see a single word in Eichel’s response to the reporter’s question to suggest there’s even the slightest hint of a problem between him and Risto. Everybody on the team heard Risto’s remarks at the end of the season. Pretty easy to see where he was coming from. So it’s reasonable for his teammates to demand he’s all in when he reports to camp. I suspect Risto knows this as well.
  23. Right, so if Beane is dumb for pursuing AB, what would that make BB for actually signing him? Simple question. No larger comparison to the Patriots at all; just a comparison between two GMs pursuing the same player. It’s intellectually dishonest to conflate a single comparative element with the entirety of both franchises.
  24. A reference to David and Derek, perhaps?
  25. Actually, if BB does end up signing him, won’t that make him even dumber than Beane? Did you happen to catch the Albert Breer tweet up thread about how the Bills and “every other team” interested in AB at the time walked away when it was learned he wanted to tear up his existing deal? That only the Raiders agreed? If Beane is as dumb as you keep insisting he is, then he’s in some good company around the league, apparently.
