  1. at some point both tax and cutting spending will come to pass.... but it will be fun to debate it and do nothing until we have 30T in debt.
  2. Probably Trump. He's got a ton of Executive experience, is a highly skilled negotiator, and maybe it's time for an outsider. Ben Carson is bright and articulate, but he's got zero experience and I don't really agree with much of his social stances. I really like Bernie, I think he's sincere and no BS, but his platform just isn't realistic for this country. Hillary, she bright, experienced, has Billy in her corner which I don't think can be understated, but again she's a lifer for all intents and purposes. Ideally I want a flat/ fair tax reformer, a person who could put together a commen sense package of spending cuts within the framework of reducing the scope of Governemt together with tax increases to meet the obligations of balancing budgets, paying for wars we start and begin to pay down debt. On social issues, increase freedom for people to live how they wish to live. Whom ever that candidate is, that's who I'd support.
  3. Our healthcare system will never be government owned or run, at the very most we might see a single national risk pool payment system. I think what will eventually be comfortable with is tax deducted premium for catastrophic care, and a combination of deductibles and health spending accounts that are tax free that will be used for meds, annual exams, ED visits, outpatient specialist visits, etc. However, a switch like this will require nuking an entire economic industry, is private medical insurance, and I'm not sure how will that will go. I think there are mountains to gain by getting rid of third party payors, one of the biggest items is getting a true price for a service that is consistent across the industry.
  4. B, if you don't have stone countertops, you're basically living in squalor. Help the poor!
  5. Touché James, Touché.
  6. Why would a public official debate be on cable television, excluding the people who don't have cable? Strikes me as odd.
  7. Hopefully the idiots will come out of the woodwork, spend tons of money they don't have in preparation for Christian Lords birthdate. Come on morons, keep this economy chugging! Like clockwork my retard in laws will whine and complain about their credit cards in January after we told them in Novernmber to stop buying into this activity. My retard father in law will restart his second job that requires being on his feet for long periods after his first job that requires he be on his feet all day even though his knee is shot and likely needs replaced to pay off the credit cards. My mother in law retired 10 years ago and constantly worries about money, has not earned a dollar in a decade, but then somehow feels new stone countertops in her kitchen are a must have. This probably doesn't have much to do with the thread topic, but it was on my mind, and I thought what the hell.
  8. If it goes quickly and reasonable priced from San Diego to Napa Valley, I say do it no matter the cost. This would be ideal when I visit my family once a year in San Diego then spend a few days in Napa. Then again, I reside in Colorado, http://www.npr.org/2015/06/09/413178870/the-unfinished-va-hospital-thats-more-than-1-billion-over-budget It's a federal project, but you can't make this kind of stuff up. 300m project turns into 1.7 billion.... Lol.... Recently we built a projected 400m building for 350 rooms for, 400m. Not a penny over budget.
  9. I watched it today. My thought was Americans who had interest in this incident, their attention span lapsed LONG ago...
  10. World of experts CJ, world of experts...
  11. A place where most of the members in this forum post from daily for a thousand, Alex... We don't want to be different from anyone else until we do. The Gays... Smh
  12. Is that Kyle Orton? Rookie mistake. Always get plowed at the airport bar prior to boarding, everybody knows that. Low point story: vacation flight to Raleigh a few years back, my wife and I got tipsy at the bar and made friends with this couple on the flight... Got to Raleigh and was so lit we couldn't pick up our rental car. It was fun though
  13. Do you know anyone who is a realtor? I ask because I have bought and sold many properties, and our realtor always had a handyman or window repair resource that knew exactly what to do. We recently sold a property that I was considering just replacing a window, the guy came out and in 10 minutes had it fixed, less that 100 bucks parts and labor... In fact, he had all the parts in his van and had no idea who made the Windows prior to coming.
  14. Yes, and it will benefit the Democratic Party. A little competition for Hillary, or at least serious competition.
  15. My guess, provide funding too or for...
  16. there are already co-ps in place around the country, I don't think there is an barrier to starting one. It sounds great in theory, but it's gotta be impossible to get stuff done and make decisions in those situations. Even with partnerships, half the profit twice the risk... I haven't seen anything further from Sanders on this since summer. My guess is co-ops suffer from lack of credible funding sources to get started, and he would want to change that... But just like the govt gets into mortgages for people who are poor risk, you have to think banks feel the same about leaderless cooperatives.
  17. the recline isn't that much imho, I think some people are just looking for a fight... They're easy to spot, just give them a wide berth.
  18. Maine community health options premiums for silver plan remain the same for next year... But the cherry here, got a 20.63 cent refund because MCHO didn't cover the minimum spent on healthcare for the plan year... Well, I spent 6,000 in premiums and covered 6,000 in deductible in Maine, with total covered services at 346.00. Good news is I've spent 1500 in Colorado based premiums are started on a new 6,000 deductible. !@#$, I gotta work just to pay for healthcare... I guess that kitty magnet corvette will have to wait
  19. So are they getting migrants, or refugees?
  20. But so are most humans... Feral cats are still adorable, useless humans, not so much.
  21. Yes I would, but only if the alternative was a guy.
  22. I'd take cats over humans any day of the week... I see this as a bright, positive development for that, well, we'll call city..
  23. We're way behind, but have Freakshow queued up. I love the concept, think the acting is excellent... The get a little goofy sometimes, but it's still great show. Jessica Lane was interviewed awhile back, said she was walking in the French Quarter in street clothes and a passerby remarked to their friend " look, it's the Supreme"... How dope is that?
