Well said. I was at that game too. That was different. Watching our qB throw 100 million Ints in a soccer stadium, in the first half. i think people crap on him because he played scared. He was too afraid of making a mistake. From my recollection, when we needed a big play, he usually either ran or threw short of the 1st down marker. So many times I was left thinking “we would’ve won that game if Tyrod wasn’t such a p****”. That’s not to discredit his clutch moments, he had a few I’m sure (although not one comes to mind). I liked the guy but that’s who he was. Just a guy-

He’s aight

I’d be happy with Rhodes, King, Haden or Jenkins for close to the minimum. Maybe pick up Will Fuller if he wants a ring and sit him til the playoffs so he can’t get hurt and miss the season. Still holding out hope for Julio or even TY, but won’t hold my breath
-
I wouldn’t be happy about it, but I wouldn’t blame anyone. He and his staff lost the AFCCG game in 2020. Completely blew a game that we had no business losing last year. If we get blown out in the first rd of the playoffs next year, I don’t see why anyone would be shocked. Disappointed (if you love McD, like I do), is how I would likely feel.

Anything’s possible.

I know about Haden. I was asking you what you knew about Dane Jackson. That’s the guy that Haden will be competing with. He’d be competing for cb 2-4 with the super bowl favorites if he comes to Buffalo. Safety might be a better spot for him in Cleveland. Or possibly switch to safety in Buffalo after Tre’Davious returns of Poyer or Hyde get injured. But I don’t see him as a safety in Buffalo. I think he’d be a starting corner until White comes back, if he signs by next week. The longer he waits, the more likelihood Dane beats him out.

Double up on the armor and have the AK safety off -
I know your feelings already. Agreed. BUT, I think he could get the axe if we make the playoffs and get beaten badly in rd 1 or 2, like KC beat us in the AFCCG. That loss was 💯 on the coaching staff. This past years lost was a combination of a few things imo, coaching included.

I feel this is just the beginning unfortunately. -
Just like most debates, there are statistics that help prove both sides of an argument http://www.espn.com/nfl/attendance/_/year/2017/sort/homePct sort by home percentage and then check each season. They started keeping track in 2006. We were dead last that season. We haven’t finished in the top 1/2 of the league once. 2010-29th 2011-29th 2012-26th 2013-24th 2014-24th 2015-16th 2016-23rd 2017-24th 2018-28th 2019-17th 2021-21st i don’t care enough to spend anymore time on the subject. I get your point. I too enjoy an open aired stadium more than a dome stadium. I only attend maybe 1-2 home games a year, so my opinion really doesn’t mean anything. I just don’t believe that are home attendance is very good compared to the league. The stats prove it

My frugal buddies love how much we show up. They paid $30 for playoff tickets last year.

But I read here that it was Levi’s fault. He even admitted it! Are you calling him a liar? end sarcasm. depending on how the season ends, I think McD has at least this year and next year….. but if a great HC candidate becomes available…..this could be his last. Payton? And is Payton really that good?

My relatives would much rather attend the games in person. Especially playoff games. The games that matter the most. But they can’t due to the weather. They didn’t vote, but they told me they were furious when they found out there is no option for even a retractable roof. Lots of people who attend games didn’t vote. Mostly older folks that don’t pay attention to online polls and such.

Buffalo Bills rookies report to training camp today!

👍🏻 you can’t expect all Bills fans to be all Kool Aid all the time. you can expect many bills fans to be all booze and will only sip the koolaid when we get a Lombardi. PTSD is real in some. until the team has achieved the goal (a goal that was certainly achievable the last 2 seasons), people will have reason to look for reasons why we’ll fail. last year, I felt that we should’ve about added someone @ cornerback. I didn’t think had enough speed at the position. I wasn’t wrong. I also felt that we needed another TE to pair with Knox so we can be more versatile and run more multiple sets. We ended up with a 4th rd Pick OT as our TE2. I wasn’t wrong. i felt that Mongo was a bum and shouldn’t have been resigned unless he was a backup C. I wasn’t wrong. i wasn’t happy with our investment in the OL. we lost a couple games (and home field advantage) thanks to our OL All of my worries had a hand in our season ending. Going into this offseason, I felt that we needed to upgrade pass rush, CB2, TE2, add some playmakers and improve the OL. An upgrade @ RB or adding Tremaines potential replacement would be Cherries on top. Beane checked almost all of the boxes. that said, if this upcoming season were to end with a Loss, I think we may be discussing the OL play or WR depth as then reasons. I hope Kromer can be a huge difference maker and that both Diggs and Davis can stay healthy to play in the playoffs. this is what we do on message boards. 😘 -
You’re right. No one is forcing anyone to go. They may also be preventing many fans from attending by not putting some sort of roof on. Most of my aunts and uncles live in Dunkirk or Cheektowaga. All 70+ years old. All die hard fans since existence. None of which would consider attending a game in terrible weather at Highmark. Hopefully they’ll be able to construct the new stadium so the elements won’t be as brutal.

No offense, but I think this is a petty post my friend. A Badol-like post. A pot shot out of nowhere for no reason aimed at air but meant to be received by a handful. They are mutually exclusive. I’m super excited—— but I also acknowledge our lack of depth on the outside. When your team is stacked you look for potential weaknesses. Boundary depth is a potential weakness. Our offense is fueled by its passing attack and winning the Super Bowl is the only positive outcome the season. Can we win the SB without Diggs or Davis? Idk. Gabe Davis hasn’t been able to stay healthy as a backup, now we’re counting on him to play 💯 of the snaps. You really can’t see why some are worried about the depth? -

Agreed- I’d just add: Can Shakir win the return job. -
I didn’t see the poll. I’m sure that there are “many” Bills fans that would’ve liked a stadium that has the ability to close a roof for certain weather situations. I didn’t say a majority or even close to it…..just many. That’s all.

he doesn’t have to be a great player. He doesn’t have to be fast. He needs to be smart and to have good instincts. He’s competing against Dane Jackson. What do you know about him? Except you really have no idea what his reasons for not yet signing are.
