We don’t even know what he wants- only that he wants more than 4M. It looks as if Beane won’t pay him what he wants present time. That said, I don’t think it’s on Beane as much as it’s on the rest of the league. If no one will pay him what he thinks he’s worth, which looks to be the case (so far), his price will come down and possibly into a range where we can afford him. If that happens, maybe Beane will pay him what he wants.

Agreed. Having 4 picks in the first 3 rounds should be our goal- WR, Mike, OL and either DL or TE would be ideal.

The guy you speak of will be a 1-3 rd draft pick imo….. unless OBj will take 5-7M for one year.

Yeah, he was pretty good in SF. When Aiyuk was going through his battle with Shanahan early 2021, sherfield got his snaps and was producing. I watch every niner game and was impressed with his play. For under 1.5M, he’s a very solid addition.

I didn’t read an infatuation in his post. He said he’s not a jag. He’s right. He’s not. He’s better than a Jag and won’t be paid like a jag. I agree with those people that would rather use his cap space on offense and replace him with someone a lot cheaper. That player would likely be a Jag…..but Ed is not.

I think campbell has the highest floor of the mikes. He can do everything a MLB is supposed to do- but could be better in coverage. I don’t think he’s worth 27….. but I also don’t think anyone likely to be available for us will be worth 27. I don’t want a Mike @ 27 but considering the draft, I get why. I don’t like any of the later round LBs very much. They all seem too small.

Agree with all of this. I’d take Kincaid over every pass catcher not named Johnston, addison or JSN. I think he’d be a great fit.

Yeah, he’s a very good blocker. Especially out if the slot. He could actually be our starting slot WR. All the kid does is work hard and do exactly what is asked of him. His team mates and fans of his ex teams loved the guy. I’m eager to see him catch curl routes and smash through potential tacklers.

Yeah, thanks. A couple SEC guys that I know and trust disagree with the instincts portion of your assessment, but they could be wrong. I’ve only watched highlights to this point, so I can really comment on him. they think he’s too often caught out of position due to where he thinks the play is going- but he’s wrong. Often fooled by the QB’s eyes and playaction. Mahomes will have a field day working him over in the middle of the field. Things that can be improved upon with experience and good coaching I like the athlete and think he’s ok value in rd 2. He’s like the 2nd rd version of Tremaine minus the wingspan.

Just wondering why? athletically sure. He’s kind of like Tremaine in that he has very little experience playing the Mike and is probably better off playing outside. So I guess he makes sense in that regard….. but I think Dodson would be our starter all season if Sanders is the pick.

I’ve been using my brother in laws Hulu, Espn, Disney account for years. Yes, that will probably change in the future, but by that time have already saved close to $1000 dollars. Just seems to me like all of those guys are gone 27 and 59. Jones would be amazing @ 27 and is looking my ideal pick. I think Harrison is much better than Brown in pass protection from day 1 and could be an option @ 27. Maybe Bergeron or Mauch get to 59, but I doubt it. You wouldn’t take Dawand @ 59? His size kinda scares me tbh.
